I would not want to mess with Danny Trejo.
Especially if he brought his dead parrot back into my shop.

He made the world cup roster.

    Time to debate again!

Betis are also in CL next year. Me made the right choice.

FWIW, old friends and 2020 MLS Cup Champions and 2021 Campeones Cup winners Eloy Room and Derrick Etienne are also WC bound.

Going to see Eloy Room in Philly!!

Would also like go to Miami to see Moreria play. That is the Sunday before my match in Philly. I could easily take the week off, and go to both, problem is my wife is still recovering from major back surgery, and not sure if I could be away that long.

Good for Cucho that the Crew undercut him on salary and he forced his way out on a transfer to Betis. :)

I know it's buried in multiple threads but I'm too lazy to go find it. Does the Crew have a sell on clause for when he inevitably gets purchased by a bigger club?

With all due respect I'm not certain that this scenario is remotely factual. If you can cite a trustworthy source I'd be very interested.

My bad. Now we're even for the time I tried to run you out of your seats in the Rail Club.

I thought it was screamingly funny but I badly overplayed it.

According to this Spanish journalist, Cucho is not currently on the market. Betis turned down $25m from Paris in the winter. Obviously if Cucho has a big performance at the WC, things could change, but doesn't sound like Betis are very open to selling him at the moment.

If/since Betis is in CL next year, I'm not sure I foresee that happening. But one never knows.

From what I gather on Transfermarkt, it seems like Cucho has most recently work #14 for Colombia. Anyone have a sense for whether that's likely to continue or when squad numbers get released?

Cucho with an incredible assist off the bench for Colombia tonight. You love to see it.

And here’s the entire play from the broadcast. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a player consistently work harder than Cucho. The game was practically over but he sprinted 40 yards to win the ball. Could have rolled around on the ground trying to get a foul called and bleed out the clock. Instead he takes the foul personally, straight up embarrasses the defender, and serves up an absolutely perfect cross to seal the win.

Only 5 teams have not scored in this tournament. That's awesome!

It’s been a great tournament so far. Most of the games have been very open with a ton of attacking. The complete opposite of the CL final. I hope it continues into the knockout rounds.

Cucho is everything you want from a player. Just the mentality to work as hard as anyone and blessed with the skill to do incredible things too!

What we haven't seen much of is something we might have expected: Big teams running the score up on the minnows in order to get that positive goal differential for the tiebreaker like what we saw at the Women's World Cup.
