He is 33 years old and at the final stage of his career.Don't you think it is time to move on and find the new young "best mexican player" ?

we need to move on and start anew if we really and truly want to renovate the club. like memento said, cuah is 33 yrs old and he is not getting any younger. he has been plagued by injury this year and this is not likely to change for the better unless he begins taking Barry Bonds (tm) juice.

don't get me wrong -- I don't hate Cuah, in fact I like to think I am one of the people who sees him for what he truly is -- an immature boy who was plucked from poverty and shot to fame at the most heavily criticized club in the country. He was (and is) always going to get criticism. He could have been so much better if he had stuck to doing what he knows best - playing futbol.

His time is up, it's time to move on. I think the same goes for other legacy players (Villa, Davino...) who are no longer at the top of their game. LaPuente has to go too, and he must not be replaced by Carillo, Beenhaker, ...(stick your America coach of the last decade here)

I agree with you on that he is getting old it is, afterall, inescapable. However, I do believe that his experience, and view (in a football sense) is irreplaceable. Even if they do want to start "new," someone has to remain that can carry the team accordingly.

Goofy told you so, but would you believe him? Oh no...!

Goofy pointed out Blanco wasn't carrying America no mo last title, but no, the love made some of ya blind...
Then Goofy bid farewell to Blanco (notice I don't call him Craptemoc or Crytemoc no more) as a NT player, but noooo some said Goofy was futard...
Finally, Goofy read Blanco's last press conference as AMerica's forcing him to retract AND possibly even say g'bye to the team, but noooo them peeps said "oh he'll show Lavolpe..."
Epilogue: America is negotiating w/Walter Gaytan... Hmmm... Goofy wonders who will he be replacing as.... NUMBER 10?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

goofy needs to stop referring to himself in the 3rd person ... lol

i think that at this point, Cuah is becoming more of a liability than an asset. His behavior only adds more unwanted negative publicity and pressure to the team imo. That being said I could see the argument that he will settle down next season since he won't be under the pressure of 'will he or won't he make the nat'l team' and his constant bickering with LaVolpe.

At some point however, I think we are going to have to hit the bottom really hard in order to rise again. There's no point in prolonging mediocrity.

Ver well said !!! Regardless of how long he has left in his fuel tank or how much longer they continue to run temoc He should retire in an America uniform and nowhere else, I couldnt see him anywhere else even though he could still go to a competitive club and help them win such was the case with Galindo who left chivas to play for santos and then called it quits but i much rather see Temoc keep his legacy and finish with club America.

At best, he probably deserves a farewell game, and/or a farewell tour, probably a commemorative tshirt, and a year supply of rogaine. :D
Can anybody imagine CB playing in the MLS?

Man, if went to the Mls he would be big traget. Players would want take him out and like Donavan. But what ever team would get him, the crowd would grow.I actully think it might be a good idea.He can still school the boys from the north!

meh. he'll just join the ranks of players past their prime that play a season or two of no mention in the MLS if he goes (see Campos, Palencia, Hermosillo, Hugo Sanchez, ...)

Blanco said that his goal was to win the world club championship in Japan.

I doubt that Televisa would ******** him over by getting rid of him.

    Kleber
    Chaco
    Irenio

They could and should get the boot.
