Depends on what the qualifications are. Right now, Cuau is playing some of his best soccer, thanks to the addition of Navia and Beenhaaker coming back. He's better as a complimentary player to Navia, to take some of the pressure of goalscoring off of him, and being a name player for the richest team in his home country. Gaitan's problem is not playing in either Guadalajara or D.F., and being a foreigner. But as far as goal-scoring goes, I'd say even.
On pure talent alone, I would say Gaitan because he could keep and maintain that level of consistency at his position as opposed to Cuau who his been rotating between positions (forward & mid) and his sharpness sometimes dissappears. I enjoy watching both, but El Chueco's play has really stood out this season now that he is healthy. On attitude, I would also go with Gaitan. Tepito is a lil whiny bisnatch that I just want to pimp slap sometimes. I saw him in the Pre-libertadores at the HDC fake a fall (bad acting too) and complain about it. That was trully disgusting. Granted, I thought he was the best player in the Pre-libertadores. He was in the "zone" during that tournament and if he maintained that level, I definitely would have voted for him. But for now, ese guey me la tu-roo-roo.
Right now maybe.... He played really well yesterday. Overall I'd have to say Blanco Athleticism: Gaitan Dribbling: Even Cross/Pass: Blanco Vision: Definitely Blanco.
In my opinion Cuauthemoc blanco in the most stupid human being that i've seen, he thinks he is like the latin beckham....I really hate him....well...as i said before this is just my opinion
Gaitan is as good and younger than Blanco. But he is also injury prone. Blanco was horrible last season but he pickep up his game this season. Tough choice....but ill stay with Temoc.
For the moment I'll say Gaitan is playing better in the Mexican tourney whilst Blanco is tearing the Copa Libertadores a new one.
Gaitan, scored another beauty of goal last night. That’s 8 goals in 8 games played a pretty good strike rate.
I would say Vicente Vuoso has been the most important player in the Copa Libertadores for either of the two Mexican teams. Without him Santos would be dead in the water.
No it's the same guy his real name is Vicente José Matías Vuoso. http://www.esmas.com/deportes/estadisticasdep/jugadores/310094.html
