Gonzalo Pineda is one of my favorite players on the national team at the moment. he seems to be a versitile player, can play defense, defensive mid or offensive mid. could work a bit on his shot accuracy.

i totally agree. i love his passing accuracy, and he has made a lot less mistakes. much like a borgetti from a few months ago, i can't understand why people hate him so much. he played awesome against boca jrs, too.

For me. Pineda should become a starter.

I like how Osorio has progressed. I think missing that PK actually matured him.

Morales should be a starter and no longer a sub. I think that started to happen in the Confed CUp.

El venado is coming along playing in his unatural position.

    Maza needs to retire.

Zinha has really taken control of the team out on the pitch. Dare I say, dont bring Cuah back.

    Deserve A Spot:

    Salcido
has deffinetly won his spot, had a great season in confederations cup..

    Borgetti
despite his age he is one deadly muthatrucker one of the best headers in the WORLD.

    Omar Bravo
Hasnt showed much but i know hes got the skill to be on the NT.

    Ramon Moralez
Outstanding player... won his spot.. no doubt about it..

    Dont Deserve:

    Maza Rodriguez..
This kid is horrible... i aggre he has improved a little but not enuff to keep him on the national team.. IMO he's a Second division player.. i dont know what hes doing in the first division.

    Venado
Like iv said before... i think he is over rated i dont think he should be a starter.. messes up on plays to much... hes really un experianced.. all he has is his speed.

    Would Earn If Played More

    Ochoa
would earn his spot if they gave him more playing time... he needs to gather some expierance for the world cup... he is by far a way better golie then Conejo Perez..

    Padilla..
kids amasing.. filled in for Kleber during the last tournament with america.. did a great job this kid his the potential to be a top scorer for mexico if really given the chance

    Salcido___Right on.
    Borgetti___Right on.
    Morales___Right on.
Bravo___He has not been given the time to really show his Skillz
Venado___Very fast. But does need to mature a little as a player. (Good things happen to those who wait)
Maza___He has improved but still lacks maturity and experience on some plays.
Ochoa___Very good player. But is a bit young and should show his real abilities within the next two years.
Padilla___Good player. But needs to become a regular starter on a club before putting to emphasis. The starter thing however is not always the fault of the player. "Pineda"

    Players Deserving a Call
I would like to also see Horacio Cervantes and Rafael Medina

Jerry Galindo espera que lo sigan llamando al Tri
    http://mediotiempo.com/pi/noticia.php?id_noticia=7976

i really hope Lavolpe keeps calling up Galindo. i really liked the way he played in Copa Oro. the only good thing that came out of that Copa was the performances that Galindo, Osorio, and Salcido gave.

    Players that are worthless:

    Muñoz- Better goalies than him
Israel Lopez- Sorry fool, hasnt prooved nothin
    Chiquis- Pathetic
    Maza- Sorry tall mother...
Venado- Tries to dribble to much, never passes ball rite
Marquez Lugo- Only good in Morelia

If you think Zinha has took over the midfield and has managed to erase Blanco out the Mexican NT, you are an idiot. NO questions asked

    since the copa de oro:

Pineda just keeps shining like a polished-silver buckle.

El Venado play horrible and didnt help his cause.

Aaron Padilla didnt do anything, wont be surprised if he doesnt put the NT jersey on again.

Players that dont get a chance shouldnt be criticized.

Players who played all the games, half time or more, or full games, should be.

Medina is one of the worst players I have ever seen. He does absolutely NOTHING. He can't pass, he can't cross, he has no vision what so ever, he can't do shyt except run.

Yeah man Blanco gots his spot el TRI... he will be there in time for the world cup.. Zinha ni a los talons le llega

What !!!.. dude didnt even get to prove himself.. he must of played a total of 45 mins.. and that seems to much..

i bet you that he will do a way better job then " La Venadita Medina " any day.. hes a complete underdogg.. that kidd is skilled.

    Thank You !
i have said that since day 1... hes GARBAGE he dosnt belong on the national team

hes fast but his speed is useless when playing with teams like Germany, Japan, South Africa, Jamaica, Ingland....

en realidad no ay un jugador que se meresca un puesto seguro en la seleccion mas que marquez y osvaldo. los demas tienen sus dias buenos y sus dias malos.

I dont think you can say that oswaldo has a sure spot either. He showed a significant drop in form coming back form his injury. I'll be generous, though, and say that it was because he came back to early. He most likely will be in the seleccion for a while, but he shouldnt have a garunteed spot, no one should.

For the guys saying that padilla doesnt deserve to be on the NT and that he did nothing, get your head out of the sand. Next thing, you'll be saying that Memo shouldnt be back on the NT because he showed nothing either.

    an island in my mind
I'm a chivas fan so I have a soft spot for Maza and el venado. But neither are up to par just yet. Maza may get there if he is improving the way he has been. Venada can come in the way Arellano did in 2002 in the second half to change things up a bit if his form improves.

As far as Salcido is concerned, he should be receiving calls from Euro clubs. If he isn't I'm dumbfounded as to why he is not. Pineda is doing better and should probably be a shoo in since Chava is out.

As much as I hate to give Blanco props, you can't deny his talent and he should be playing next year over Sinha. Sinha isn't in the same league as Blanco.
