Murdocca was always a better player than him. McKay is such an overrated little bugger and its kind of embarrassing that he got into the teams that played against Indo and Kuwait and i got a feeling he will flop in China

As the CSL transfer window closed, the scare buying of Asian players by top east asian clubs is lifted.

Although we've seen Aussie fans complain of lossing players to asian leagues, in fact there is only ten of them joining East Asian Top 3 leagues. while South Korea becomes the biggest exporter, with 17 South Korean players joining J-League & CSL. and the ability of Chinese players is still not recognised by J-League and K-League yet. only two Chinese players join the K-League.

In terms of import, a total of 16 Asian foreigners come to the J-league, CSL fetch in 16 players from AFC members and K-League also added 8.

But seriously I'm a little disappointed about the fact that nearly 80% of the deals are between the JACK clubs. as I believe the aim of the AFC's AFC foreigner policy is: 1. to encourage the comunicate between asian leagues. 2. Give best player of the Lower ranked leagues a chance to play in the top asia leagues. We didn't see much result from both 2 points.

maybe I'm silly as the JACK leagues are not really considers as best east asian leagues by asian or maybe best player from Singapore, Vietnam and Chinese Taipei etc just want to play for the European Leagues instead of other Asian Leagues.

so far seems the AFC player policy is only a game of the Japanese, Korean and Chinese and no benifit for other countries at all.

Green can u post the list of all the foreign players who r in CSL after the window closed thanks you ;). and by the way i don't think singapore need help from AFC about foreign players coz they just give nationality quickly, Hong Kong league allow more than 6 foreign players on the field. Taipei players r really worthless so i think they r just good for the Inter city league and maybe some for HK league but not more

seriously we need more Brazil in our leagues I think currently there is only 14 or 15 of them in CSL. we need more of them to improve the technical standrad of CSL.

I'll post the complete list of foreigners in the 2009 edition tomorrow. before that I'll do some reserch on the name lists tonight to find out who is our real threaten in the new season ;)
