Gary Megson's no doubt smells the boiling oil bubbling below him as the Albion prepare to face last season's Division One Play-off Winners. His team were rightly booed as they left the pitch after the scoreless draw with Norwich.

Saturday's trip to Selhurst Park is yet another match from which the Baggies need to grab maximum points if they hope to remain above the relegation places. Palace share the very bottom rung of the Prem with Norwich, so Iain Dowie's Eagles will no doubt be doing the same.

No Clement or Purse again tomorrow for Albion. Palace, as expected, will be without Powell, and Shipperley hasn't yet recovered from injury.

Crystal Palace: Speroni, Kiraly, Boyce, Borrowdale, Popovic, Leigertwood, Hudson, Granville, Hall, Riihilahti, Kolkka, Hughes, Danze, Watson, Sorondo, Routledge, Soares, Johnson, Torghelle, Kaviedes, Ventola, Freedman, Lakis.

West Bromwich Albion: Hoult, Haas, Moore, Gaardsoe, Albrechtsen, Gera, Johnson, Scimeca, Greening, Horsfield, Kanu, Earnshaw, Koumas, Robinson, Contra, Kuszczak.

  3. 2-0 down at half-time. No doubt we'll put in an inspired second half performance to pull it back and win but then again, considering we've got one of the most negative managers going in charge we won't. Not good enough and i'm gonna go all out on a knee-jerk reaction and call for Megson to go after the game.

    Unacceptable!

Because of problems with Albion World, I was unable to listen to the match as per usual.

But I found out rather quickly that we were down 2-0 after only 12 minutes. I thought Albion are certainly capable of coming back if only 12 minutes had been played... but only for a moment.

I'm certain the grumblings among my fellow Albion fans have grown to deafening levels. After supporting Megson from the moment he was hired until about a month ago... I now feel it is TIME for a change. Team selection and tactics - two of the key decisions a manager is responsible for - have failed the Albion this season.

I now expect Megson will be sacked well before Christmas and replaced before New Year's Day.
