We have had our share of shit halves so far .........

Question is, will that be the norm or is the team still learning Slotball?

I think it's easy for us to assume that. But none of us are part of any medical team (as far as I know), so who knows with these things.
Maybe the scans showed no damage and the medical team cleared him to play.
Are these scans 100% accurate? 80%?
I would assume that the medical team see the results of scans and give their best professional guesses. As in, "i don't see any damage, therefore he should be good to go".

But maybe the scans don't show a weakness/minor strain that could very quickly lead to a tear/ major strain?

To be fair - we were often shit in the 1st half under Klopp…so I’d say the norm. I mentioned some weeks ago that this is Slot’s biggest challenge.

Fair enough. I do remember Michael Owen had serious hamstring problems that took years and 2-3 teams to solve and even then it wasn’t optimal.

The underliend one should get heavy rest rotation. If we lose and goout of that Cup, then so be it - we lose.....

Nice! How did you get tix for the games (if outside the usual hospitality pathway)?

I'm lucking out for October's Arsenal - Liverpool game via my brother's corporate connections - but I have no such connection at Liverpool (last year we did hospitality for the game).

For the PL game, it was through the usual LFCDC lottery. Once for the fall and once for spring.

As for the Champions League game - Hotel Tia has packages https://www.hoteltia.co.uk/ and for those that don’t know, it’s around the corner from Anfield

My wife will not be attending with me

Gerrard's hamstring/groin issues from his youth weren't solved until a random professional told him to have his wisdom teeth removed and then he had a several year run free of injuries

Saw that and it’s not the first time, either. Against Bologna, too, we gifted them the opening chance.

nope... Just speaking as a someone who works on plant cell walls (which is what fiber/twine and wood are made of). Cellulose in cotton is ~20% stronger when wet than when dry.

I will say, though, that collagen and muscle fibers are NOT the same as plant cell walls!

You'd be amazed how much systemic inflammation can be caused by low-grade infections of the teeth...
