Hell yeah, this will be a good warm-up for the Gold Cup. Every time I drive by the stadium I think about getting ticket, if nothing else to see the coach, a Mr. Von Hayes.

Parking can be a little sketchy, but I think the parking garage by the hospital is done. Any Lancaster SoB's know?

yeah, I'll be there. parking actually isnt bad at all. there is a big lot behind the stadium that you can park at for free. I usually just park on the street. its not a bad neighborhood. as you mentioned, the garage at LGH is done so you can park there.

I'm in for this as well. What else is there to do on a Thursday night. To have a club like Crystal Palace in Lancaster is ridiculous. I wouldn't expect a capacity crowd for this but there is no reason the SoB's can't make a good showing. Besides how can you beat $12 to watch Crystal Palace and Harrisburg at a very nice stadium.

I also wanted to add that the only soccer friendly pub in the area that I know of is Annie Bailey's which is about a 5 minute drive from the stadium or about a 20 minute walk through the city. I would be willing to contact them if there is some interest.

I just booked 2 tickets for myself and an attendee-to-be-named-later. Looks like only lawn seating was left, though, so anyone on the fence should probably get them soon. At $12 per ticket you can't beat it! :D

Yeah, I just noticed that. Is that what they do for baseball games, too? Seems that it would be kind of a mess to have everything GA. Oh well, at $12 I still get them sooner rather than later.

Does anyone know how fast these tickets will sell?

And is anyone else here from Lancaster County?

I live about a 5 minute walk from the stadium, so you know I'm in!
Since the seating is G/A I'm thinking we should try to gather in the right field picnic area. It's closer to the beer & I don't know if any of you have ever been to a Barnstormers game, but pretty much the whole 3rd base & left field side of the stadium is set aside for kids/families.

How about Iron Hill? They have way better beer/food.

Either that, or see if we can get in center field behind the goal.

Corey, any thoughts of making contact with their FO, or making a call to the Islanders?

Center field is basically just a hill with a kids play area behind it. Not really a good spot to watch from.

Right field has sort of a beer garden atmosphere & the way the pitch will be layed out I think this will be the area with the best sight lines.

I'm willing to walk to the extra 3 minutes from Iron hill to not go to the Shityard...

Someone mentioned Annie Bailey's during this thread, that may be a good 1st stop if anyone's up for a long pub crawl/SoB march up to the Clip through Lancaster City.

I may even take the day off if we need a drunken tour guide...

I mentioned Annie Baileys as it is a soccer friendly pub or at least they carried Setanta. Iron Hill is a nice place but a little further of a walk. The brickyard is probably the closest but not necessarily the best. Whatever we decide is cool with me.
