My TiVO recorded it no problem:

Oye bopper, have you ever hacked your TiVO to increase the HD? I am thinking about doing it, but don't know of anyone who's actually done it. I am scared of screwing it up. Life without TiVO is not worth living.

Are you saying you cannot set a manual recording time on the TiVO?

You can do a manual recording but I was not at home at the time. Nergserg I've heard of hacking into your tivo's HD, but at the moment I have 100hrs of recording. I'm cool with that amount. I have a buddy who only has 30hrs who was thinking about it. As a matter of fact a while back I had the instructions on how to add more memory.

Lucky you. I got one of the early models with only 30 hours of recording time. I mostly record in Low Quality (except some special sporting events) and even then I can't fill up the HD.

The problem arises when I need to archive some programs that I don't want to delete and leave on the HD. I hate to transfer things to a video tape as you lose quality. Even sending the signal to my PC's TV card would also cause a loss in quality, so I was thinking of hacking it and adding a 200GB HD.

That would be the shyt, but I don't know of anyone who has personally done it. I have seen the instructions for doing it, but don't know anyone who's actually done it. I just can't fathom the idea of busting it up.

  11. Die of envy! I will watch the next Pumas-Cruz Azul live directly at Mexico 68 Stadium!
