easy easy. Ronaldo is doing fine, I still think Manchester United is the place for him. Calling him a premadonna is a little rash. He knows what hes got...he knows where his talent came from. He came up from almost nothing, he was living in a freaking favela on the side of a moutain in Madeira. I dont even think Quaresma had it as bad as Ronaldo(money wise anyways). Ronaldo is still alot more humble then Quaresma, just cause he loses his head sometimes doesnt mean nada. Yes he needs to control his temper, cause that Portuguese version of Samba hes trying to do when he gets fustrated is hard on the eyes...but by no means do I say take him out of the starting lineup, we should try findiing a starting spot for Quaresma not just substituting Quaresma for Ronaldo.
Being humble doesn't get you anyway,You have to be disciplined and motivated especially if you want to work on your game. I don't really think ronaldo and quaresma are best friends. They seem to be but i wanna see these guys play against each other and see who can takeover a match.
Oh man I would love to see these guys play against each other. WOould be crazy. I kind of know what you mean by them being mezo - mezo in the friend departement. For sure they proboly spent alot of time together growing up in the Sporting Academy, trading tricks and whatever else. But they seem real cool with each other. I remember in the one game for the Seleccao where Ronaldo got subbed off for Quaresma, they had a little conversation with each other.
Here it is....i couldn't stop laughing when the commentator says A ANGRY MAN http://www.yourfilehost.com/media.php?cat=video&file=byebyecr7.avi This shows there was no contact and the ref was swarmed by the paparazzi player's.
C Ronaldo interview to a Brazilian newspaper Lance I got offers from Valencia and Juventus, but I want to stay at MU also says, Scolari can guide Portugal to the championship game http://www.record.pt/noticia.asp?id=693996&idCanal=292
Strange considering the treatment he gets from the fans and media in England. And from a team standpoint, both Valencia and Juventus are better then Manchester United.
personally i think ide like to see him in a barca jersey. what an amazing team you would have in terms of attacking. C.ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Messi, Deco, Eto'o. thats just nasty to think about.
He will just be as popular then he is in england and it suits him. Deco wanted him there and he wanted him bad. btw joelzinho I thought you doing the thing with the ladies tonight,I just came back from The Hangar>What a boring night To bad i don't live in Montreal or ill be chilling with you. And Bigsoccer saves the night
uuhhh, Valencia are 2nd in La Liga my friend. That team is no joke if they have their best lineup on the field. How can you put a team that boasts Darren Fletcher, John O'Shea and Alan Smith as their current central midfield options against a team that boasts Aimar, Baraja, and Albelda... they have one of the best left wingers in Europe in Vicente, a very very solid striker in David Villa (2nd in la liga scoring), and an all around solid defense with aurelio, marchena, ayala, miguel. Cani in net too... And a pretty good bench to boot, with players like Mista on it. An all-around very solid team, put cristiano on that right wing and that team could wreak serious havoc.
Let's put that argument into perspective... John O'Shea plays defence for Manchester United, not anything in the midfield. And to compare to Manchester United who have Neville, Ferdinand, Silvestre, Evra, Heinze (albeit injured), and Vidic. Yeah they have a WEAK defence there... About goalkeepers they have Van der Sar in goal, who's just as experienced as Cani. Central midfield, yes, Valencia are much better equipped, with United's only good player being Scholes who is getting sloppier day by day. Wings I think United are as good if not better than Valencia with Ronaldo, Park, Pique, and Giggs as viable options. And up front is no argument, United win this department any day of the week with Rooney and Nistelrooy and subs like Saha, Bellion, Rossi, and Smith.
I thnk lack of team chemisrty is the problem>It's all mental for man u. Rooney is still hot tempered why? No discipline Ronaldo is a whiner why> no discipline Some players look like they are given up and you can see that. But like i said teamwork is essential to make that move to a common bond. It's like being happy,If you are then things will go your way>If you mad then you will always be clumsy.
I have to agree, but the United team IMO was a lot better before Rooney... And back then SAF had a good control on the team.
Oh dear...dont ever say that in the english forum. I think they would pull out their age old tradition of burning traitors at the stakes if they ever heard someone insult Rooney
o'shea has featured in the defensive midfield quite a few times this season. bellion is gone, smith is being played in midfield, rossi gets no first-team time, so you are left with rooney, ruud, and saha (who gets injured every couple practices). formidable yes, but with no central midfield, no balls are fed to them in useful positions. also, villa, mista, and kluivert are pretty damn good strikers in their own right. pique is a defender, not a winger. park is a hard worker but not a particularly great player and giggs is only getting older. cr needs to get himself back on form. valencia have got the left wing down with vicente but with that said, the right wing is probably valencia's weakest position, although rufete and albiol are probably on a par with park. oh and to address the defense, i never said it was bad, although ferdinand's form has been rather shaky, no one has really seen too much from vidic just yet, evra is a great new pickup although he had a crappy debut, silvestre loses concentration far too easily, and you are forgetting brown who is definitely better than silvestre when on form. and VDS is quality, no doubt.
what united are at the moment, are a team with no cohesion, and things like that only come through experience and familiarity, or if your chelsea, jose mourinho , manchester united will get better, make no mistake, and if the rumours coming out of old trafford are true, and that fergie is after two massive signings (hopefully diarra and ballack), manchester united, as talent-pool would be complete, now all they would need is the time and experience, to gain that cohesion which they lack. also, on ronaldo's poor form this season, i think its more to do with the presently ill-equipped midfield, as it cant present him, giggs, or park, the opportunities to do what they do best... lol mate, valencia is second behind a barca that is running away with la liga, and teams such as osasuna and villareal competing with them, its not something to boast about.... its unfair to compare o'shea to aimar, as o'shea wouldnt be in the side if everyone was fit... imo, this is united's strongest lineup: VDS Gary Neville----Rio Ferdinand----Wes Brown/Vidic-----Heinze/Evra Ronaldo----Fletcher----Scholes----Giggs/Park RVN----Rooney
It does,if they had a quality midfield to compliment ronaldo it would be over. Everyone is bashing ronaldo's play when really what has giggs, scholes or fletcher been doing nothin. It all comes down to team chemistry and a good work ethic which man u are not coping well at this very moment. While Chelsea got maniche that was enough to stabilize there midfield and man u is still stuck with a average midfield.
i'm not boasting anything nor am i a valencia fan, that 2nd place mention was just to say that Valencia is a team that can be talked about as possibly being better than Manchester United. That poor United central midfield has an effect on the whole team, one that edges Valencia out in front of it.
Ruud and Ronaldo Bust Up Manchester United duo Christiano Ronaldo and Ruud van Nistlerooy are thought to have fallen out in the wake of the derby defeat at the hands of rivals Manchester City. The pair were caught having a feud in training and had to be seperated. The duo could now face the wrath of boss Sir Alex Ferguson who has had a pretty tough season after going out in the early stages of the champions league and falling 16 points behind leaders Chelsea.
Wow....thats not good news at all. Could this be the straw that breaks the Camels back? I also would like a source.
Please source this Frank, we don't need any copyright issues. and Let's keep this thread on topic. it's about Ronaldo, not who's better Man U or Valencia?
