Cristiano back in action this sunday vs chelsea in the community shield- the start of the season.

after a superb 2006/07 I expect cristiano ronaldo to keep playing at the highest level and he really should lock up for himself the reputation of europes best player going into Euro 2008 where we will all hope for the best...(and further confirmation that Cristiano Ronaldo is the real deal).

Hopefully the story of Cristiano Ronaldo continues to get better for the upcoming season. I wish him all the best because he is a player I greatly admire. a Lethal combination of Technique, Speed, Skill, and Strength and a winners attitude.

Yea, they really bunkered down and left United only to half chances. Ronaldo was easily one of the best players on the field. He worked really hard created tons of space and half chances for other players, but nothing came from it. Nani also had a decent game for the half he played. Started really strong, was less influencial as the half wore on, but still contributed more then most of the other United players. He definatly proved his worth today.

Ronaldo had a good game, Nani a decent one.

I think Ronaldo was being man-marked in the second half though....

    Portsmouth 1-1 Manchester United

Man united got another draw today in the EPL...

and Cristiano Ronaldo was sent off with a straight red card in the 85th minute for getting into an altercation with one of the Portsmouth players (forgot who).
Ronaldo was provoked and he headbutted ( havent yet seen what happened) the other player.

Cristiano Ronaldo will now miss the next 3 Primeir League games. Games against Manchester City, Sunderland, and Tottenham.:(

In fairness though, I haven't seen what Ronaldo did, and god knows he couldn't have said anything too offensive, but I saw plenty of players of both teams who deserved red or yellow cards... yet somehow the reff is able to single out ONE player in a group of what? 15?

I'm very VERY interested to see the reff's report. I heard it was for a headbutt, apparently, but I'm not buying that since I didn't see a player go bawling to the floor, like when Vidic gave a tap early on to a striker and he went to his knees like he had been hit by a damn hurricane.

Nah wasn't a headbunt. It was a series of events in the box. I believe it was Nugent(Not sure about it, but I will use his name for reference) that was marking Ronaldo. Nugent held Ronaldo in the box for a few seconds, then let go and turned around, Ronaldo then gave him a slight shove in the back. Nugent immediatly turned around and seemed to put his hands around the shoulder/neck area. Ronaldo immediately, and somewhat aggressively swiped Nugents hands away and then gestured his body and head in the same direction as Nugent frontal lobe, however, no contact seemed to occur...then the red....

Kind of disappointed Ronaldo will not be playing 3 games....thats absolutely brutal. Hopefully he can appeal and get some kind of reduction.

The guy marking him was Richard Hughes.

I didn't see a headbutt but as far as I've been told that was the reason he got a red. Overexaggeraton by the reff I think, given the kind of game it was.

Ah I apologize, that you for the correction. This is the same ref that gave the red to Ronaldo last year after the no call against City, and which Ronaldo reacted with a studs-up tackle...even though no contact was made then either....

Both occasions were grounds for a yellow card, not a red, I would appeal this.

I will not be expecting any type of reduction though. He does play for Manchester United, and he is the Portuguese player who sent England home.

Wow, Noone been posting about Ronaldo (while hes been 'off' for 3 days) but apparently hes been enjoying himself during his suspension.

reports in England say Cristiano Ronaldo hired 5 escorts to come to his house and party with him, Nani, and Anderson to celebrate Manchester United's 1st win of the season after they beat Tottenham 1-0 with Nani scoring.

heres one article, just go to google and search for news on Cristiano ronaldo if you want to find more.

hahaha I didn't see that one!

"'Make sure you keep your mouths shut about all this. You must never tell anyone what we are about to do'"

Well, they sure did a good job at not telling.

    "26-year-old named Taylor"

TAYLOR!? This just takes the rumors of Anderson being gay to another level haha

"They kept asking if I was tired and I said, 'No'. Then Anderson said, 'Let's go - I'll show you I'm not tired'."

See, that's why he underachieved in his debut. He got tired...

"'Oh my God, what an incredibly well-built man...in every sense!'" -about Ronaldo

Is she referring to his joystick?

Well, it was a fun read, but most most be lies and publicity stunts. The usual.

So what the man has money, Mom and family are probably in Madeira on vacation.

What to do? What to do?
Hire some girls for a party, seems logical to me.

It doesn't seem too likely to me.

Think about it. If you are Cristiano Ronaldo, all you have to do is show up to a packed nightclub and get on the loudspeaker and tell everybody he is looking for 25 hot ass chicks, and if they are lucky they might get to suck his cock. So why is Ronaldo hiring Escorts?!

Cuz his random friends (not just nani and anderson) at his place get whatever they want too.

The escorts are ok with all the watching and random switching and other type of shit.

Doesn't have to worry as much about bitches getting preganant and the escort service probably makes sure they are clean.

Apparently thought there might have been some secrecy from his "don't tell anybody" thing.

It's legal in the UK so 3000 pounds or whatever it was is peanuts for someone that makes 100k/wk.

Not to mention last time he did the random pick up some girls and pass them around with your friends thing, he got accused of rape.

Oh man he schooled you on that one! :p

That was some good logic right there. If it is true, and it does look like it since I saw a video of Anderson in his boxers and Ronaldo and Nani speaking Portuguese in the background, whats the big deal....

Hes living his life, let him live it.

    Dude! what's wrong with you?
I'm making fun of it. I really don't care if the game was before or after.
It's his life, he does what he wants with it. If I was in his position I would do the same, gosh!

EDIT: wait, I've just saw two of them, and if the other three are like the ones I saw... forget it. I thought they were a better service but...
Remember kids, don't touch trashy whores.
