And you know Queiroz will keep a good eye on him with many contacts and scouts in Portugal.

Could cement his place at starting LB for the Seleccion assuming he plays well of course.

seems like this guy had attracted genuine european attention from some time ago, pleased to see this move happen. Can't remember the last time someone moved from mexico to europe.

With Fabra and Mojica back soon from
Injury nice to see we have LB options. Plenty of them. All relatively young as well.

Now to find a backup RB for Arias

    Ok as espn

Keeps posting the formation. With 3 in the back and him as a LCB

Yeah, but in function he was the wingback. The center mids dropped back a lot.

PS. ESPN is meh. Use soccerway or whoscored. Way better, much more detailed and accurate

I don't think he's been playing as a wingback based on his heat map and their personnel. Definitely looks like he's playing in a back 3. Acuna typically sits wide and gets the attacking touches with Borja providing the defensive cover, the back 3 system quite often looks like inverted fullbacks, they sit more central and release the wide attacker and central midfielders to have more attacking freedom.

According to Caracol Queiroz will be at the Sporting match this Sunday.

He will watch Borja battle it out with Jackson.
