If we sign Frimpong I don't see us going after Kerkez. Especially given the fact that we're getting Frimpong for ~25m less than Bournemouth will want for Kerkez. An attacker - maybe Rodrygo given he wants out of real and we've wanted him forever. A CM. And maaaaybe somebody like Hato, as mentioned above.
Please do not sign Rodrygo. he is not at the level we need. If you want to buy from Madrid, Fred Valverde is the guy
and more ..... Manchester United have decided not to hold an end of year players' awards night for the second season running. United cancelled their plans 12 months ago as the senior men's team finishing eighth in the Premier League, even though they won the FA Cup. This year, the club have opted not to arrange anything. The awards night usually involved prizes for players from across the men's, women's and youth teams.
But but but but what about Liverpool booing Trent. That's waaaaaaaaay worse. Sooooo much worse. They should be docked points and stripped of the title.
Some new names to add to the list of people we're linked to. Araujo, Cherki, Beukema, Lucumi...all the kind of players (less heralded, but data driven signings with points to prove) we built Klopp's team with and I expect us to return to making a feature of our next iteration. Frimpong is similar to Mac - a well known player with a bargain release clause. Signings like Wirtz, Lookman, Isak are simply not going to happen. ---------------------------------------------------- The Reds are showing interest in Bologna defender Sam Beukema, who has just completed an outstanding campaign in Italy, helping his side secure Champions League qualification and reach the Coppa Italia final. Liverpool are strongly considering a move for Benfica defender Tomas Araujo. Araujo would be available for £67m (his release clause) should the Reds ultimately decide to push forward. Liverpool have now opened talks over a deal for Lyon star Rayan Cherki, who has been informed he can leave the French club for a fee of just £19m this summer. Liverpool could upset the apple cart in the transfer race for Bayer Leverkusen star Florian Wirtz this summer, according to reports from Germany - with the playmaker and his family having spoken to the Reds ahead of a potential move to the Premier League. Liverpool will return to Atalanta for Ademola Lookman, the African golden ball winner, also courted by Arsenal and United, as well as Juventus and Napoli. And Atalanta will not make any discounts: Lookman is quoted at €60 million. However, the Reds could include Federico Chiesa in the exchange. Liverpool will make an approach for Feyenoord star Anis Hadj-Moussa. Several Premier League clubs, including Liverpool, are taking an active interest in Bologna’s standout defender Jhon Lucumi, Barcelona's 22 year old midfielder Fermin Lopez is on Liverpool's radar. He previously REJECTED a move to Atletico Madrid in the hope of arriving at Anfield instead this summer. Liverpool have been rocked by the news that Paris Saint-Germain intend to test their resolve for Ibrahima Konate with a €60 million transfer bid.
There is no reason Liverpool shouldn’t be in for Wirtz. There is also no reason Wirtz should choose City over Liverpool. We are the champions. We have the young brilliant manager. We are the ones just showed the world how special it is to win things at Liverpool. Wirtz is the ultimate prize in this transfer market. He is absolutely brilliant and only 22 years old.
I've seen some reports that Real Madrid may be headhunting Konate as their next free transfer signing. Seems Ibou's contract is up in one year and so far Liverpool have been unable to sign him to a new deal. Ibou following the same scenario as Trent? Hope not.
It's been rumored to be the case. We offered him a contract last season on allegedly quite improved terms.
