Maybe someone who has worked at the Post can enlighten me, but I used to work at a paper where stories were automatically placed in certain areas of the Web site based on keywords read by a computer program. It could be a simple case of someone miscoding a story in a hurry or something like that.
It's crime news because it's a crime that they put that old goat's quote in the paper once. To commit a second offense is a felony I think.
