So befuddled was the Crew that Andrulis took the unusual step of making an early tactical decision when he sent in Chris Wingert for Eric Denton.

"If I had seven subs, I think we would have made them in the first half," Andrulis said.

Andrulis said of the Cunningham substitution: "The middle was so bogged down we were trying to attack from wide spaces and it wasn?t a matter of putting in one of our short forwards. I was trying to get a good target in there."

As for Buddle, "He ran out of gas."

At least CBC asked about the subs, that's far more then we usually get.

Hey Greg, how about instead of taking off your two most dangerous players because your tactics weren't working, you actually consider changing your tactics to best utilize those two guys. His answer to the sub question epitomizes why he's an awful coach. I don't think he's changed his gameplan since he's been here.

And yet, the only Crew goal of the night was scored on a through ball that shredded the Revs interior defense, from the guy he took off because the middle was bogged down.
