Nobody much will play on Saturday, Greg isn't too impressed with some of the guys he's been trying out and other stuff: http://www.1460thefan.com/tf.php?story=dispatch/2004/02/25/20040225-B6-01.html Plus of course the inevitable "two players will be joining the team for the Spain trip" crap. What the hell, is it a state secret or something? Would it kill them to be just a little forthcoming sometimes? Why do we have to keep getting our info from out-of-town reporters?
so let's see...for saturday we have... no wingert, marshall testo...and limited minutes, if any, for buddle, martino and lagos. should be fun. think i should bring my "boots" just in case? i guess the polish guy didn't impress greg too much.
Weren't they (the Crew) selling this as a "meet the new Crew" thing? Maybe it should have been meet Robin Fraser? TBAR
I don't see how every year we have trialists and Andrulis says he's not impressed with them. Same as last year and he finaly gave up and chose Mark Williams.
I'll be there, but I don't get this come see the new crew thing when our top 2 draft picks aren't playing. nice job guys.
A little disappointed that Testo, Wingert, and Marshall won't be available. I'm glad Buddle, Martino, and Lagos won't play. We already know what they bring and I don't want to see them less then 100% anyway. Still it will be our first chance to see Sutton, Crew, Vericollone, Haefner, and Barclay in a Crew uni. Maybe Drumlak and then we can decide if he's impressive or not. Maybe other trial players as well. Plus the DPs from last year. Should be interesting.
well sorta... i guess there is some "home & garden show" and "b-ball games" at the fairgrounds so there will be "parking attendants" in the lots for those events...just go in the back way <over by lowe's> and tell them you are there for the crew scrimmage.
