    ....& possibly the next.

This is a good chance to see the Crew for those not ready to wait until March. They will train @ Obetz at 10am starting Monday.

Of course they have to continue training. The Soccer First Co-Rec All Stars are taking Special Game C seriously, and so, too, should the Crew lest they get schooled.

Laugh now, but I hear they're bringing in nationally ranked Conor as a ringer.

I'll try to confirm this but the Crew might train until the end of November. Absent on Monday & Tuesday were head coach "Digby Smith", Rusty Pierce, Bill Gaudette, Jason Garey (shoulder surgery), Jacob Thomas, Ben Hunter and Andy Herron.

Froggy, do we have any trialists with the team? In the last reserve match vs NE, we had several non-roster players take the pitch for us. Are any of them on extended trial or were they just passing through Foxborough that day?

I seriously first thought the Thread Heading was "Crew will continue to be a trainwreck" and was surprised Froggy would write such a thing.

#29 is the only one I'm aware of other than an OSU goalie filling in for Gaudette.

Come on some one-match report? Be nice to hear of there were any new faces at practice.

Split squad games happen all of the time, it's kind of the reason to attend practice.

Hopefully I didn't sound like a jerk in my last post, I have some more tidbits but nothing that informing. Sigi was there on Monday & Tuesday as were 4 new trialists not including one that seemed to be re-habbing. Some players were not there every single day the last few weeks but Hedjuk, Junge, and Andrei Pacheco are also among the list (post #6) of those who haven't made an appearance.

When players are replaced someone else wears their # at practice but I've never seen anyone wear Moss' # 21. I don't know if his roster spot is secure or if they never printed his # on any practice clothes.

The Crew will continue to train next week, I don't really want to give San Jose any scouting reports on who has been doing well.

That would be priceless if they actually got scouting reports from fans who attend practices. But nothing would surprise me with that lot.

So are the trialist anyone of any name recognition or are the Crew just looking at guys right now that will be the 17-18th man on the senior roster or used for developmental spots.

I still have the same problem, when glancing through thread titles this one merges into Trainwreck every time until I actually look at it.

So, who's shirt #s have you seen on random trialists so far? Can we infer that Hejduk, Jung, Pachenco, Pierce, Gaudette, Thomas, Hunter and Herron are all gone? That would be a crazy amount of turn-around so fast into the offseason. Isn't it possible some of these guys are just off on a few weeks of vacation or something?

And where the hell would Frankie go? I don't think we would just release the guy? Maybe the hand is keeping him out of full contact practice matches...
