2-0 2-1 makes no difference. The performance has been piss poor. Not one player has had a decent game.
Re: Crew vs Fake Salt Lake We are very gracious when it comes to giving teams "firsts". First time for RSL to be in first place. First time Chivas won away from home....I'm sure there's more but I can't think of them now.
Re: Crew vs Fake Salt Lake Who thought it was an easy win? Anyone who thought this was an easy win is crazy.
Re: Crew vs Fake Salt Lake If this were the case, how come RSL sucked so badly (home, too) in the first 3 seasons? Maybe RSL is really better and, like most teams, it shows more at home than on the road?
Re: Crew vs Fake Salt Lake Craptastic is the word you're looking for. Really poor from everyone. Just no energy out there. One has to wonder if they left all their heart on the pitch last Saturday. Sucks because that's one of our two games in hand on the Revs.
Re: Crew vs Fake Salt Lake No, seriously, anyone who though this would be an easy win is crazy. Like, checked into an institution crazy. Or drunk. Or high.
Re: Crew vs Fake Salt Lake What planet do you live on? They are unbeaten at home and there is no such thing as an easy win in this league.
Re: Crew vs Fake Salt Lake I didn't say they're not better, but since they have the leagues worst road record, and are undefeated at home, I'd say they have some home field advantages that other teams may not have.
Re: Crew vs Fake Salt Lake I was replying to not seeing how many times our dead balls didn't make it past the first defender.
Re: Crew vs Fake Salt Lake Quoted the wrong person. Sorry about that. I was trying to quote the idiot who said it should be an easy win. Then again they did write this as well
Re: Crew vs Fake Salt Lake ok, sorry about the easy win thing, i was just confident and feeling good about the game...before the game.
Re: Crew vs Fake Salt Lake No, we would have said it was crazy two hours ago. The Royals were undefeated in nine home matches. How can going there be considered an easy victory? And that's not to mention the Crew's usual performance on crapturf. I figured this would be one or zero points. I was expecting / hoping for one, would not have been (and am not) the least bit shocked at zero, and would have been ecstatic had it actually turned out to be three.
Re: Crew vs Fake Salt Lake Look, easy win might be too far, but a game against a team the Crew should beat, yes. If the Crew are truely a top of the table team, these are the kinds of teams they should be feasting on. We saw the same thing with the two SJ games, Colorado, and the NY game. These are not good teams, yet through piss poor lapses with little energy from the team, they let the other team into the game. The Crew just can't keeping barring themselves into holes and spending the rest of the match digging themselves out of it. That heart and energy we saw against Chicago needs to be there 90' against every club or the second half of the season is going to be as craptastic as this game.
