October 25, 2009 vs New England Revolution 6:00 PM Television :: ESPN2HD Radio :: 106.7 WRXS Semi-important information from the email press release, considering a few things have changed:
We need a big win here to kick start our Road to Victory momentum. I'd say goals from Lenhart, Renteria, Gaven, one of our defenders, and the rare Roger's goal will suffice. Give'em a beat down like when the former pro players enter Men's-B in my indoor league! That being said I bet we'll lose. But I'm a pessimist so don't listen to me...no one ever does anyway.
Yes. I think yellow card suspensions would too. Currently Lenhart and Moreno are listed as being in yellow card peril on MLSnet. Would we risk them for this game? We might have to, because with Renteria out, that leaves only Garey and Schelotto up top.
Our lineup depends upon the outcome of the Chitcago and Chivas match Thursday...any speculation until that match is played is simply a waste of time.
The factors are: 1) Do we need the game (depending on Chivas/Chicago & Chivas/Houston)? 2) Do yellow card suspensions carry over (I'm assuming reds would) 3) Can we sink Colorado another notch with a loss. Remember, we have their pick, which still could be as high as #4 if they lose to RSL and: DC wins, FCD wins, TFC wins, and NE wins. And it could be as low as 10th. Big difference between 4 and 10. If we don't need the game, and the Rapids don't win (or lose), I say we tank it and get the higher pick.
My god. What a time to rejoice. Winning seasons rule. I am practically tearing up. I can't believe we're laying out our potential Shield capturing scenarios for the second straight season whilst having the option of tanking our last game in order to get a better draft pick.
I want to win to restart the home unbeaten streak. If we lose, we're on another kind of streak. NE is a beaten down side so if by losing, we draw them as first round playoff opponent, it wouldn't make me cry if we lost.
Nope. The option of tanking our last game to save players with minor injuries from aggravating them. We draft last again next year.
I am praying to Crom, even though I have no tongue for it, that he grants us revenge against the Revs. And if he doesn't listen, then to hell with him. Here are a couple that were inspired by goings-on during the Realist Crew Fan Super Classico . . . T-shirts will be available shortly on skreened.
Top notch creativity there!! Working on a ideas for a banner here, involving horror, but don't know which monster/killer to use
Let's destroy the revs, and enjoy celebrating the shield again. It would be great to win it whatever way we can, but so much sweeter after a victory.
This. I don't want to enter the playoffs with a 2 game losing streak at home and a two game league losing streak. Doesn't matter if we have the SS or not, that cannot be good for confidence.
There is only one villain that is vial enough to take on the likes of New England and that bald headed bastard pedophile Reis. They call him.........
How about a swarm of killer bees wielding a machete! [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YpO4gvW6D3Q"]YouTube - The Swarm (trailer)[/ame] That's some Massive star-power.
Well, this banner is mainly for playoff/CCL/Open Cup matches, can be used at any time, but would be unveiled vs. those sorry-ass Revs. I want to include the woman/creature thing, but the wording might be a slight, well, vulgarity issue
Well, I hope we do to, but with the Fire winning tonight, and us clinching the Shield, I doubt we see many regulars (if any). With what just happened to Gooch, why risk it? ---------Schoeni---------- Zayner--Iro---Marshall--Elenio -------Burns---Oughton------ Ekpo-------------------Grendi --------Garey---Lenhart------ If yellows carry over, don't risk Lenhart either. Bench: Hesmer, Hejduk, Brunner, O'Rourke, Rogers, Schelotto, Moreno.
