I apologize to JC and hail the new hero Freddy Garcia. The winning result was the 2nd highest total vote getter last time (2-1 Crew).

    Are you more positive now??

    2-1 Crew.

Too bad it won't be televised for those that can't make it down there for the game.

Has anyone run the game on FIFA (the PS game) yet?? I'm curious to see what the line is on there. Here in recent home games, FIFA has proven fairly accurate in scores --- I think it gave the Chicago home game as 3-0.

P.S. If you do play the game and run the score, remember to turn the offsides ON!

Does ayone else see this as pretty much a must win. There is no way this squad wants to head back to San Ho for another game. If this team can really contend for a championship this season its time to show it by going for the kill here. The Crew has won both games against them here in Columbus this season and the Quakes have been below average on the road. No excuses.
    2-1 Crew

My vote goes to a 2-0 result with an early goal by the Crew followed by a back-breaker late as SJ pushes everyone forward.

It should be on shootout. But that's no excuse for people who can come to the game.

Whoa!!!!!!!! Be careful, fellow Crew fans. Those big bad meanies from the San Jose forum have linked to this poll in an attempt to "fight the trolls." My God, what's next? Redirecting nonsense into the MLS Rivalries forum? Oh, the horror! The humanity! If San Jose victories win this poll I think I'll get a head start on my dirt nap.

well, you know how those latte drinking, birkinstock wearing, queer as folk watching tarts are, anyone who disagrees with them is a horrible horrible person (you know, republicans, straight people, simple minded country folkd, and "turd farmers")

read around some of thier threads. they take pathetic to a whole new level which has never even been seen around here. its good for a few laughs.

these people actually think that theyre the only team in the league who consistantly is on the wrong side of a bad call.

like i said, great for a few good laughs.

I think we've been overlooking quite possibly the biggest question surrounding this match:

Will there be any pants-crapping induced by neck punching?

That must be what the big jump was for 1-2 Quacks.

SJ's road record is terrible, but I agree that we need to see this as a must win. The travel would be bad enough, but we need to finish them here and not get back on the postage stamp in front of 4,000 unruly fans. If we finish them then MLS can get on with moving this team where they have a draw (Seattle).
I had the Crew 2-1 but am edging tword 3-1.

1-0 Crew.......this game is going to be low scoring or it could be a 7 goal game and with both teams coming out blazin'......TIME WILL TELL!
    ahh hell, WE'll WIN!!!!!! 1-0! Wouldn't a 4-0 shutout be terrific? !!!!! GO CREW!!!!

2-0, the second goal by McBride in front of the North End...he then laughs at his detractors.

Thanks, it was an exciting end to end game. Your team dominated large parts of the game and, luckily for us, missed some easy chances early in the game.

Second poll in a row where the 2nd highest vote total was the winning score -- FYI.

Not too shabby of a prediction...but I don't know if the Crew were heading to the North End.

Sorry, Toon. HIs goal was on the S. end, but I think he can laugh at his detractors anyhow.

He played a great match on both sides of the ball and figured in most of the offense and played some terrific D throughout the game. I thought he was MOM as he TOTally outplayed everyone on our team and led by example. He even got a little physical when the Quakes were pushing around Freddy. He was a motivated man tonight!
