guess im not surprised there hasn't been much about this since the Crew have played pretty uninspired soccer the last two weeks. Looking forward to the lads knocking the Fizzle out of the cup! Curious since DMB deal went through if he will be suiting up for tomorrow or is officialy no longer Fire property.? Crew get it done 2-1.

Testo for Lagos, Scott for Buddle & Sutton Dunc or Nelie for D.

There's an announcement that could come on Tuesday, so i'd imagine he's gone. If not, there's one of two options.

Fire don't play him because they don't want him injured.
Fire play him, if he gets injured, they don't care because he's not gonna stick around for much longer.

I think we won't see him tomorrow.

Um, he's gone... he'll be in Holland on Wednesday for a physical... no way would he even consider sticking around for this game, even if the Fire wanted him to. They haev no say anymore. He's packing his things for Holland right now.

Now MLS only has to get rid of Convey and they'll be rid of the two most over-rated players in MLS.

Then Martino, if he doesn't continue to step up his game, can be #1.

In honor of the beating we are about to hand the Fire, I've compiled some jokes:

How does Ante Razov change a lightbulb?
He holds it in the air expects the world to revolve around him.

Rumor has it that Chicago Fire has got a new sponsor: Tampax.
The owner thought it was an appropriate change as the club is going through a very bad period.

Why do Chicago Fire fans carry lighters around with them?
Because they lose all their matches!

And the best one of all::::::

Dave Sarachan was caught speeding on his way to practice today.
"I'll do anything for 3 points", he said after being pulled over.

The more I think about it, the more I'm certain that Coach Moron will pull out all the stops for the USOC.

If he can win it, or even make the finals, he'll get his extension. This year, this team, is all about him keeping his job. Nothing else matters. The only question is whether he will play this like it's a World Cup final and commit everything to defense or whether he'll really push it and put pressure on the F*re.

The first is something he's tried over and over and has conclusively proven we can't do. Therefore, I'll bet that's exactly what he'll do.

Any idea whether Extra Time with DB will be on tomorrow?

The paper says 103.9 is carrying the game (unusual for an Open Cup fixture)

I doubt Extra Time will be on tomorrow. Just because Dwight, coaches, players, etc have the game to prep for.

This was posted by DB on MN:

"Added Time with the Crew" will air live @ 7pm on WBNS-AM per usual tonight, originating from the stadium.

At 730pm, we will switch over to Eagle 103.9 for the match. The pre-game show will be taped tomorrow and air at the regular 720pm start time, we'll go live @ 732pm.

So, for better or worse, soccer "stuff" will be on two different Columbus radio stations at the same time tonight, 720pm-730pm (guess I need a life)....

I feel like the game will go to extra time tonight. That 4th sub could prove to be very important for either team tonight...potentially a chance for Testo, Barclay, or Sutton to show their worth (assuming each dresses).

Testo gets the winner after coming on as a sub, and is then benched on Saturday.

I hope Herdsman gets back onto the field, he isn't on the injured list anymore.

    Crew win 2-1.

I can't believe the crowd. You can actually hear a lot of noise.

It sounds like we're really pressing them

Hard foul Hejduk on Ralph, Frankie gets the card, too bad he didn't break his leg.

How the hell was Wingert on the bench for Denton for so long?

He's going to be something else.

    HalfTime Crew 1-0.

Sounds like Martino and Wingert have been everywhere for the Crew in the first half.

Cunningham's had a couple chaces, but hasn't put one away. DB made it sound like an excellent save on one of Cunningham's shot.
