You know, I don't normally troll. I was actaully lurking here thinking I might make a post about how this should be a good, close, game and may the best team win.

But for what could be one of the most disgusting posts I've seen on BS in a long while, I hope we stomp your miserable, piss-yellow asses into the pitch tonight.

And if that doesn't work, maybe crazed, Columbine-style ######## who are sick of the Crew being total losers will start ######### into the crowd.

That is about the right analogy for the two clubs- Top 3 in Britain v. middle of the pack second division. Yep, I can work with that.

Oh dear me. This just awful

Something calling itself "roadkit" has just given me negative rep for my above comments, leaving me a little mash note calling me a "cOcksmoking jackass"

I....I just can't go on. I've upset one of the little DC Adu-worshipping darlings. I just feel terrible about this.

I guess I'll just drown myself in gin. Oh wait...I was doing that anyway.

I hate to say anything bad about Rodriguez, so I won't, but what the heck is up with the PKs this year? That's just ridiculous. Let Buddle try the next one.

Gotta say, nice delaying move by Rimando, though.

Martino has been his usual easily-dispossessed self. Rodriguez has made some good runs. Marshall has been playing pretty strongly in the middle. He's probably the reason we still in this game.

Now Chad has finally opened his Crew account. Too bad that account is in the red already.

    Martino 2nd yellow. Ejected.

Christ, you guys can't get a break. What a terrible string of luck in this game.

    speaking of red.

Maybe people will start trying to keep possession now that there are only 10 men.

    probably not.

Would someone please answer a question for me?

Does Edson Buddle have something else he'd rather be doing? Someplace else he'd rather be?

Because he is simply not the least bit interested in playing this game.

    hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

Oh wait - were you serious?

In order to posees the ball, you first have to have a few people in the midfield. Eight people standing around the 18 with two forwards up front is not a posession formation.

And it also helps if you win the ball someplace other than your own third. Of course you'd have to have someone actually TRYING to win the ball in the middle instead of just backing up to our own box.

The way we play the only conceivable option is to counter. And we stink at it.

This team has simply given up now. You don't let a team get away with playing keepaway for 30 passes without knocking someone down. Gutless.

Max Bretos was observing that Martino's body language as he left the field after the red card showed a complete lack of commitment or concern. Maybe he's pleased he won't be playing next week

    This makes me sad.

Gutless is the absolute correct word.

at least someone took a shot in the 2nd half. Too bad it took until there were only seconds left in injury time.

Seriously, I don't know. Two wins in the last twelve games is dismal, but it doessn't seem to matter.

I gotta say I really liked Rodriguez tonight. When they took him out, HDNet had a closeup of him on the bench, and he was angry; shaking his head and clearly steamed. God bless him.

I hate Balboa but he really hit it late in the second half: he said Columbus ran out of ideas after about ten minutes, and that was that. We reverted to backing up, playing passively and conceding posession.
