    Pre-game show is starting.

Starting XI: Gruenebaum, Miranda, Marshall, Williams, Mendes, Gaven, Birchall, Grossman, Duka, Meram, Arrieta

Bench: Lampson, Gehrig, James, Vukovic, Tchani, Finlay, Vargas

Some big changes from last week: Miranda, Mendes, Grossman, and Duka starting. Meram playing FW instead of wing. If I'm reading this correctly, Miranda's playing LB with Williams at RB. Gaven and Duka on the wings with Birchall and Grossman in the center. Surprised to see Tchani on the bench and looking forward to Mirosevic getting healthy back into the competition for the starting slot.

O'Rourke still out. Is it time to write him off?

Of course I hope they do well, but this is another radical lineup change.

Williams is on the left and Miranda on the right, so I was reading the lineup wrong.

arrieta running more as lone striker in this opening 10 mins than viva did the whole of last season. exactly how a lone forward should play

Fu**ing FSN is not showing the game live in the south Dayton area. Not even on their alternate stations. Does anyone know who I need to bitch to, in order to get the game live?

I like this lineup except maybe where Williams is playing and where Duka is playing. Not really sure about Arrieta, yet. Would like Vukovic for Mendes and swing in Williams. Maybe Finley starting on wing for Grossman and Duka playing CAM.

Crew has really dominated play so far with a couple dangerous chances. DC United have had a couple good counterattacks. Good to have Chad Marshall back.

Still waiting for Arrieta to show himself, but Meram is playing well up front.

Williams cannot catch a freaking break! Great header goal on a set piece called offside. Replay showed it to be mighty close. Tough call.

Harsh call on Williams. Guy is seriously snakebitten on offense.

This is refreshingly positive from the boys. Duka has looked possessed at times, Williams and Mendes are playing well in the back, and Arrieta's been close to getting on the end of a couple crosses.

    I like it.

I appreciate the link. I know where the alternate channels are, and none of them are even broadcasting, let alone, showing the Crew game. In fact, where I am, they have the Crew game set to show AFTER the baseball game at 10:30 on tape delay.

I am pretty sure it's the TWC region I'm in that won't show the game live. I'm going to put up a stink.

!!!! Nice way to start off the second half. Birchall with a great put away from a beautiful Arrieta pass. 1-0 Crew. That's karma!

it is so refreshing to see a midfielder getting beyond the forward

Well...that rules out Birchall for the next match. Hope Mirosevic is healthy.
