I was nervous that maybe both Morris and Camacho might have picked up injuries or strains. Those are guys that don't come off the field usually.
IDK on Camacho. He took a knock late on and then got subbed in the aet break. I was looking for him in the postgame celebration & did not see him. Though our vantage point was not the best.
He was one of the first guys from the main bench to run over and celebrate with cucho. I think it was partly tactical as Cincinnati subbed on their quicker strikers. Create Something Special 💫 pic.twitter.com/BjmLPFoA7w— The Crew (@ColumbusCrew) December 5, 2023
Does anyone in this town have any class? If we win the cup I won't spend one iota of time thinking about Don Garber.
Going to be interesting to see how Columbus comes out for this game. We haven't been a team that changes how they approach things depending on the opponent - but no other teams have a Bouanga.
1) It’s not a binary thing. You can have two emotions at the same time. 2) The man baked a move to aust!n into the deal w/Prec***t. We nearly lost our team. Some wounds are very slow to heal.
So with the Cup now just days away, soccer/football writers and analysts are finally starting to give Mr. Nancy and our amazing team some of the props they deserve. Hopefully the AppleTV game commentators will take notes. Although, they may lose their jobs if they show too much support for this thorn in DG's side. Actually, perhaps we are more like a worrisome mole that appeared on his face. He thought he could put a band aid on us and we would soon be gone. But the troubling growth persisted. When it became too big for a band aid and people started noticing, he tried to have us cut out. But the growth persisted with vengeance and he is now covered in blemishes. DG's vision for the MLS did not include having a cow town, in the middle of fly-over space, becoming anything of significance. No glitz. No glamour. Perhaps the business metrics gang should hire a few people with souls, just to give them some direction. From a marketing perspective, the Crew's story is gold. It's David and Goliath. It's exactly the kind of story that will fuel the rise of the MLS because it resonates with the common folk. For the league to get to the top, the common folk have to care. This week, along with dignitaries from NYC, Ohio has the great honor to host the other most important people in the world. People from HOLLYWOOD! There might be a movie star! Or maybe even somebody from a TV show! Oh, the things we could learn from them. Crew win walking away. 3-0
I know Man and Bone are trying to do a live show at the pub on Friday. The crew agreed, but MLS has not yet. Man said if it's not approved MLS will hear about it. If it makes anyone feel any better, he said the radio station which usually gets tickets had to purchase some in the 9 am window on Monday. Even the team sponsors getting the short end of the stick. I wonder if/when MLS will start to do a Champions League like show before the game. Edit: here's one

I get everyone's shit is emotional right now, but we're one of the best teams in the entire league. We are a top class organization. The envy of many. Some magnanimity might be in order.
We're working on pregame activities - like a tailgate. I assumed that @The Misanthrope is referring to plaza activations and other things around town in the run up this week that are hosted by the league.
As did I, but I also assume that people want to be part of everything possible. I'm sure there'll be some shindig on Friday at a local drinking establishment.
For a second I thought that was Victor Rivas and my blood pressure started rising. Victor is a pompous ass who always has to have an impact on the game. His arrogance and incompetence is maddening.
Any pre game concert on the pitch like before Cincy? Who was that band? And what about half time show? They should bring in Dolly Parton.
How many times did they have some alleged "up-and-comer, #1 in the Young Latino Charts..." And we never heard from them again.
