OPlates already shows the CBJ plate, but not the Crew plate. And my plates are up for renewal in just over two months...

Nice to see the fans recognized for making it happen. It's been years in the making, and it's good to see that fans coming together can actually make a difference.

Wish our government worked the same way.

A thousand to keep it alive. My college, Mt Union, is the only school to lose it!

What, the handicapped plates aren't good enough for you Crewsters?

foosinho-- If, before your current expiration date, you request a special registration plate, the BMV will issue you a paper "tag" to be taped to the inside rear window indicating "special plate applied for". This is not to be confused with a 30 day temporary tag. This permit will enable you to drive with it without fear of repercussions from the State Patrol and municipal agencies. Wait until you get close to you current expiration date and then apply for the Crew tags.

Also, if you guys remember, about 2 years ago, some supporters had a petition at the southeast stands asking for these plates. You had to sign your name, address (?), social security number, and/or current registration. Last I knew, this was a legal contract and you MUST now obtain these plates.

Awful joke, Eggy, you're right. But after last season, somewhat true.

They can have up to 6 letters.

Anyone for a V Army plate?

Does a space count as a letter?

Yeah, I think so. I know the logo counts as a letter, so you're down to 6 right there. And Eggy, if you're thinking about getting one, you either gotta move back to Ohio or think of somehow to get around the system.

When the current plate becomes availble I guess close to 20 could get a plate with "V Army" in it.

Now they come out with Crew plates. I guess I'll just keep my UD plates; I'd rather the additional money go to UD than go to the Columbus sports commission or whatever.

    I think it's more like 100.

You could have VRMY then numbers 00 through 99

How's that work exactly? By law, doesn't the money have go to a non-profit organization? And wouldn't UD be for-profit?

I'll admit I'm a bit confused. Can you just get the Crew logo license plate without picking out special letters for it?

Chelsey: Yes. The customized lettering is an additional $35. You don't have to get it.

Narcboy: The University of Dayton is not the ITT school of Refrigerator repair. Imbecile.

As for me, I'm checking to see if FYR GREG is still available.

Yes. I think it's $35, or whatever the website says.
