I was out there a couple weeks ago, hoping to maybe catch a game (hotel right next to the stadium), but they were on the road. At least they don't (to my knowledge) do the stupid scarf flip during the anthem.
Every time I wear Crew out in my home place of Northeast Ohio, I brace in anticipation of any questions or comments about the situation with Crew. I am still so raw about it. However, with you living out in enemy territory, then I can understand how it might be nice to talk about Crew even with random folks. Enjoy yourself, and I hope Crew put on a golazo clinic!
I used to be someone who always wore Crew gear everywhere I went on matchdays. Now I'm at the point where I avoid it. I just can't bring myself to have that conversation with random people anymore.
We're here for 3️⃣ points 🆚 @SoundersFC!These are the guys to get 'em! 👇 #CrewSC #SEAvCLB pic.twitter.com/TLafPKQ43q— The Crew (@ColumbusCrew) May 5, 2018 No Afful, Mensah, or Artur in the 18. Presumably they didn't travel to Seattle in order to stay fresh for the midweek match.
Yup. How are you running it? I forgot about the state of things so I am forced to airplay it from my computer on ESPN+. I guess I am going to give into my husband’s pleas to buy the Apple TV 4K edition.
Columbus has a surprisingly large number of douches willing to publicly get in your face at groceries, fine restaurants, breweries, where I work, family gatherings, etc. Just better to avoid.
I sync the sound from the Columbus Crew Youtube home audio feed to the video from ESPN+. And with that, Santos gets a red card after VAR for a dangerous play. I don't think that's a red card. Rough day ahead, folks.
Santos gets a straight red. Are they applying hockey rules where you are responsible for your legs and everything?
I have no issues with it being a red. Stupid play and reckless. So much for this being an interesting match.
Santos off, Crew screwed again! That is about as high as a boot can go, deserved yellow at the most. This is going to be a long match!
My dad (ref) just sent a text saying, “that should not have been a card.” Thinking of you, @Smithsoccer1721. Going to be a long 75 minutes down a man.
I know. Down a man on the road, and a player of his stature, right in the middle of the box... that has to be a goal. Flat-out.
Even down to 10 men I think we are playing well enough to steal a goal before halftime before we give up the usual two or three in the second half.
