I am assuming that the Pioneer Cup isn't considered as proper pre-season?

    It's like the back-end of a home-and-away contract.

If we lose to the U-17 Team, I want EVERYBODY fired.

Date of the first leg of the last 16 of the Uefa Cup. If Everton beat Brann, then we will be seeing the youth team.

Umm, how long have you been a Crew fan? The Crew have lost to the U-17s before in spring training, as well as various college sides.

If Everton loses to Brann, we'll still be seeing the reserve/youth team.

2 things. First and foremost is the lack of real competition. I like a winning preseason and all, but beating up on the girl scouts doesn't help prepare for the start of the season. I would rather we lost to every team and played the top of the EPL. You learn more when you lose in really tough games than when you play these sorts of games. Second, it would be nice to get more of a heads up. I know my dad wanted to catch a few of these games, being retired and all and a fan of the team. I had almost nothing to tell him until it was practically too late to try to set something up. Thanks front office! When are they going to figure out that some of us like the whole idea of catching a preseason game or two.

The EPL is still in season though, so that might be a little hard to schedule.
