I remember The Good Doctor running for his life when fans rushed the field at the end of a game at the Shoe! He was running faster than I ever saw him run during a game!
If you didn’t win then you lost Higuaín was the prick who should have gave the PK it’s kinda like your oldest son provoking his brother , the kid who started it is getting in the most trouble. i wonder if Kei tried to fight him in the lockerroom ? kei went overboard and took it to the next level and either way you have to blame both hopefully nobody is giving either a pass . Was it not the biggest on field debacle in club history ???
The biggest debacle for me has to be either Steve Clark's farting around or Tony Tchani's not playing til the whistle in mls cup 2015.
You realize soccer doesn't work that way, right? Higuain was the team captain. He had the responsibility of either taking it himself or deciding someone else should. Kei doesn't get a vote just because he's a striker. If he did, that would advance MY argument. Not yours. Yes. A draw in a regular season game. What could be worse.
People near my seat must have thought his first name was "WTF". I was constantly muttering "WTF Tchani!" during his first couple of years with The Crew.
Fun Fact: I tailgated w/ his entire family(sisters, parents, and grandparents) in the parking lot at the MLS Cup final in LA in 2008 !
We didn’t win we blew a lead and our team lost that day in more than one way . Higuaín made a bad decision monistic cares if he was captain that doesn’t excuse his shitty leadership and bad judgment Kei didn’t fight him in locker room , so you missed the point. both helped destroy the team but I will hold a captain to a higher standard and a instigator is always worse then a retaliator
Clark maybe but Tchani argues the call he was right there so you blame the others maybe for giving up
Kei threatened to retire after the 2015 MLS Cup. Then he pressed for a new contract. It was deserved in my opinion, but I was surprised PSV would pay two million-dollar players. In the off season, we signed Ola Kamara and shortly into the season we have the PK meltdown. I believe Kei was signed to a DP contract with an agreement that he would be traded mid season. Ola was too good to sit the bench and I don’t believe PSV planned to keep all 3 of them.
Just to beat a dead horse i would take Kei Kamara as competition fir BWP i think we need a true 3rd striker
Fun fact: I stood next to his sisters at the same game. I had just been barred from the pressbox for wearing a Crew shirt and carrying a beer and I refused to give up either one,, so I wandered over to the Crew section and there was this incredibly hot girl who had torn out the neck.of a yellow jersey so.that it was a bare shoulder deal. Hard to focus on the game. She was very friendly but I didn't know who she was until later. Talk about a smoke show. One of the top 5 most impossibly gorgeous women I've ever actually spoken with. After the game I met HHM at the hotel and he told me who she was.
I keep hearing about how legendarily hot Robbie Rogers sisters are but nobody ever posts a pic to prove it.
Jeff Cunningham drove me nuts. Scored goals he never should have, blew open opportunities left and right,
