    But the real question:

Did Jeffy go 1 v 3 only to get picked by a bunch of collegians? :D

Dispatch reporting that McCarty suffered a knee injury in the OSU scrimmage, is out for several weeks.

[This cries out to be done]

Did anyone count how many times Adrian Paz was called for offsides?

A better question might be, who was offsides more? Paz, or Cunningham? ;)

Unless Adrian Paz has really slowed down (in both senses) I'd know the answer to that one. Cunningham is merely bad. Adrian is (at least, was)something "special."

The Dispatch says he is trying out. Apparently he was playing in Israel and feaked out when a bomb went off outside his hotel. It's nice for the crew to give charity tryouts, but does Paz honestly think if a player like Dante couldn't make this team that we would have room for him?

don't worry about it. he had no business being on the field.

    random thoughts on the game:

    - thought Paz looked terrible. no way is he better or even equal to what we currently have

    - he was on the opposite side of the field, but the blonde guy kinda reminded me of a young nick nolte! if i knew they needed players to fill in i would've suited up myself!

    - think the osu goal came from nugent - nelson either stumbled, mis-played the ball or both. presthus didn't have a chance although he got a hand on the ball. osu maybe had 1-2 other chances and 1 long range shot

    - jc's goal was nice but he didn't do much else and, yes, he often went 1 v 3 and seldom won!

    - walsh definitely can hold the ball and take people on, but can't remember anything coming of it. this was the first time i saw him

    - heard warzycha say afterwards that it might've been a ligament in chad's knee. nothing very specific

    - overall, we had most of the possession but didn't look real good IMO, probably due to different playing combinations and lineups

    - what gives with no autographs after the game? my 6 year old was rather disappointed

    - it was cold!

Nugent scored? Wow.....that is my boy, I helped coach him in high school. Such a talented player and a great kid.

And I think the guy you are tryign to think of Switt is....hmmm...Vorenkamp? I think it was Kevin Vorenkamp.

i figured he would have been the one to score...

with steady progress i could see him eventually making an mls squad when he graduates, he is a very talented player having seen him play a few times in high school, and now at ohio state.

Actually...talking with him, he wanted to be semi close to home, but not right next door. And I really do think that he wanted to be near his brother.

Was McCarty's injury from a foul? Now he and Torres are both out, but I'm hoping Torres may be available. Akwari has been playing in the center and it doesn't appear Trager is ready to play full speed MLS yet.
