Now I DO get his point - that the difference from top to bottom is slim - but it's nice to see anyway. Scribble down some prospective starting lineups for all 10 MLS teams and you can’t help but notice the talent difference between the best on-paper teams, the Galaxy, the Burn, the Revolution and the Crew, and the worst on-paper teams, D.C. United and the MetroStars, is thin, especially if players like Ben Olsen, Clint Mathis and Jaime Moreno return to health this season. http://www.mlsnet.com/content/03/firstXI0218.html
I thought the whole idea was to get away from "home team in home dark and road team in road white". So, does this mean we'll see less of Fire Red - Crew Yellow and the like this year? chalk me down as someone who wants to see color jerseys against color jerseys in MLS.
Completely agree. Anyone who doesn't think we're consisitantly one of the top 10 or 12 teams in the league is an idiot.....
Judging from the stuff you write, it's obvious you're the expert on that. It's the only thing that explains that embarassing "Goofus and Gallant" piece, that's for sure.
