For those who need it: 30th minute Crew 0 Fire 0 Fire with run of the play so far. Crew so far have been able to absorb their pressure.
38th minute. No score. 2 very GOOD shots on goal from the Fire last 3 minutes. Fire continuing to have run of play.
Halftime. 0-0 Busch HUGE so far, save right on the goalline off a free kick. I never thought I would say this, but a 0-0 tie would look pretty sweet right now. Crew are out of sync, and Fire playing well.
What's the deal? How come Insight doesn't have the game on its cable system? They promoted it and even are reponsible for the production, yet they are showing the Reds postgame show where they are closing down the old stadium... ...this is crap!
Re: What's the deal? I have TimeWarner and they are showing it. I think you should be getting the game now, they just announced they were switching over from the Reds coverage for you Insight Cable people. And think, you have missed the crap production of Sport TV!
BUDDLE just barely missed left post. JUST missed. Beautiful counterattack from the Crew. We just need ONE goal people.
Thanks. I heard the field at Naperville was small, but judging from this guy's calls it consists entirely of "the middle of the park".
Razov with a LASER just over the bar from the corner of the 18 yard box. Crew CONTINUING to dodge bullets.
This is a joke. The referee is determined to card everybody wearing yellow. What a disgraqce this guy is. Blatently biased.
72nd minute Fire 1 Crew 0 Nowak with the goal, pass from Dema down to Nowak left side, slots it to left side of Busch.
The Crew aren't going to be able to win this game, every time they make contact with a Fire player we get called for a foul. I hope they have fun going to California and blowing the Conference title.
Just as I wrote that, another one. That's four, and Dunseth barely touched him. This is a scandal. Meanwhile the Fire is fouling blatently without so much as a whistle. And diving like Lougainis, getting a call every time. I didn't know MLS had an affirmative action program for referee3s. It's the only way this piece of crap gets on a field.
2-0 Fire, we're packing our bag and taking the 6th seed. Way to blow this Crew, I can't belive I expected us to be successful and win the Conference at any point of this season.
This is total worst case scenario happening. Crew now have to play San Jose, with THEM having home field advantage, the Crew having to play on yet ANOTHER smaller field. And there will be NO TV of the SJ game, I'm sure.
