A Wednesday night game I will actually be able to watch? Surely Crew will win! Who will score a goal? No clue. Who will stop a shot? No takers. Will any of these guys be on Crew 18 months from now? Hopefully not. Drinking up in a house mere yards from Cedar Point while watching this game? Yes.
I haven't seen more than a few minutes of RSL play this season; anyone care to offer some insights? @Kyle Crew?
I would put good money on "Someone in a RSL jersey". Short week coming after a bad performance plus time zone change... was a choice between Lose By 1 or Lose By 2. Also, this game starts an hour after USA-Jamaica semi-final Gold Cup game starts... Great scheduling there, HQ.
After last night's game, this is the future I am seeing... USMNT gets a real scare from Jamaica but still gets through to meet Mexico in the final where they are soundly handed their arses. That team last night was not quick enough in many areas and some of the players are looking like they are running out of steam.
The "Simply" brand has had some sales recently and my kids like it in the summer. I was sick as a dog the last time we had any in the house and the limeade of theirs over crushed ice just tasted so good to my blitzed by fever taste buds. Tart. It is pretty good when not sick too, but even better with some coconut rum. You put the lime in the coconut, you drank 'em bot' up
The other WWC semifinal that doesn't include the USWNT? No, wait, that will be in the afternoon... EDIT: Duh. Red White & Boom. That's what happens when you don't live in Columbus for a few years...
3-4-3 in this one. Williams Crognale Sauro Jiminez Artur Sosa Robinho Hansen JJ Santos If Williams can't go at D, put Keita in there, or Jiminez with Argudo coming into midfield. Get as many of our under 25 players out there as possible is really what I'm getting at. The season is lost, get these guys as many minutes as possible. They're the only ones who can improve. I'm sort of done with Maloney at this point. You might convince me to give him a shot and to play the more normal 4-2-3-1 but we are the 2nd worst team in the league playing 4-2-3-1 and a good performance from a so-so right back isn't going to help all that much. I don't care if we get taken behind the woodshed and pummeled. We deserve it. I just want to see some growth, a plan, a way forward, something to hang a hat on during this down slide of 2019. Anything that gives a glimmer of hope for 2020. Any young guy we sign should also go immediately into the lineup.
The hour of departure has arrived, and we go our ways - I to die, and you to live. Which is better Guille only knows.
I dunno. It's been a minute since @puttputtfc last posted. I hope he didn't get abducted at the Double Down.
