Is anyone else watching this game on TV? The Burn announcers are the worst commentators I've ever heard. Listening to them they make the Burn seem like a world class team because every time the Crew make a mistake it's all due to the Burn and their incredible defense rather than the fact that the Crew suck. Jolly is also the great defender on the earth according to them because he's able to block a shot once in a while.
Now the announcers claim that the Burn have a "reputation" in the league for being a tough, chippy defensive team. It's hard to tell whether the Crew are playing a home game or not, according to these idiots.
Crew get incredibly lucky on the last play of the half. Martino had a handball on the goalline that wasn't called.... wow.
good save followed by pure luck on that non-call. not only did it appear that the ball hit martinos (upper) arm, but it also appeared as though it crossed the line. whew. also, this video is great. crystal clear. too bad i dont have speakers (maybe thats good for this match?) and too bad this ******** wont work when im stuck overseas.
I'm watching this online. Incredible. The thanks to mlsnet.com so I can see how ******** we really are.
man oh man did we luck out. the soccer gods were really by our side when two things that we couldnt control went in our favor (martinos handball and jolleys-off-busch-off-the-post-hey-i-think-im-gonna-bounce-and-sit-on-the-goal line-for-a-bit) wingert wasnt as awful as i expected. did oughton actually get subbed in or was that my imgination? marshall is quite good. lots of rain tonight, eh?
Final Whistle 0-0. Pathetic attendance but it was pissing down. I was quite impressed with Cunningham. Herdsman looked decent as well. Wingert needs some work. Buddle is obviously way off fitness and is struggling. Martino had some decent play but the match was sloppy due to the rain. Nothing awful. Average performance at home. I saw quite a few mistakes, especially in defense but fortunately we never got punished and nobody will remember them.
funny, when i tried in kuwait, the yahoo site flat out didnt load, and the mls video popped up a screen saying "sorry, the mls video feed (or whatever its called) is not avaliable outside the U.S"
You'd ahve to make it look like your coming from another IP address in America probably. I don't know if a proxy server would work.
<didn't see the game, sorry if I miss the sarcasm> Who cares? We lost, we didn't score, and our coach is horrible.
Obviously someone cares. "Our Coach is horrible, I don't care, we suck, forget those guys, boo hoo hoo hoo"
All i know is that in today's match i saw some of the worst decision making i have ever seen. The marking is terrible as well, and we back off far far too much when the other team has the ball in our third.
