It should be there by default for every match :D

Just curious, how early did you vote? I had one of mine disappear a while ago and I was probably one of the first three or four to vote in the entire poll. There might be a bug/undocumented feature/setting in the code that trims the list of users...

It's the exception that proves the rule. "Proves" in this saying being used in the nearly archaic sense of 'tests.'

Please note my restraint in stiffling any expressions involving blind squirrels. I don't get it, either. Nevertheless, the extent to which you all had to reach to refute the joke more or less proves my point - Sigi has not, at least yet, come up with the answer to our offensive woes. I like Cameron and Ngwenya, but neither of them is of MLS starting forward quality.

realistically, i think his lack of production is directly tied to jason garey. he nad ngwenya were starting to hook up, and now we've got kei and knox starting, and ngwenya riding the bench too. i strongly agree that sigi is trying to find the right mixture, i just don't think he's looking the right direction. i say start joe and kei up top, and make seb AND garey attacking mids. have retiz and whoever else is playing good in at mid also.

This is the exact reason I only came in the top 5 of Tree's prediction league a few years back; I am wholly unrealistic in terms of Crew's scoreline.

But, yes, please set my vote on default. I'm sure I already have 14 or 15 posts which give the exact same vote. Let's do BS a favor and not clog it with the same post...

Garey, an attacking mid?????????? What exactly do you see in his skill set that would lead you to believe Garey could ever play in that capacity? He doesn't have the vision, passing ability, or the 1v1 skills to play there. He's a back-to-goal, goal poacher. That's what he's been his entire life.

And can we please stop with the Rozental deification. At best when he was playing, he was good for one or two plays a game and then completely invisable the rest of the time. About the only leg you have to stand on is if this team had a legit pro forward, maybe Seb would be more effective. He's still fat and out of shape with almoast half the season gone by. Perhaps he should stay away from the latkes.

I don't agree with the people that say Seb hasn't produced.

That shouldn't be the rubric. The real test is how he is doing in comparison with those who are replacing him. I don't have to tell anyone on this internet board how those who are replacing him are doing, cause they aren't doing anything. Sure I could tell you Seb "looks more dangerous" than any of our other options and that the Crew's attack noticably improves when he's on the field, but those are subjective. I can't see where people are saying he hasn't produced relative to his teammates production in the same amount of minutes played. He is third on the team in assists and goals having not sniffed the field in the last 5 matches or so.

This has to be some sort of "doghouse" thing. You know, the kind of thing we all got so pissed at Andrulis about.

It's a better description of him then an attacking mid.

He certainly hasn't been for the Crew, but that's what he's done at other levels and that's the reason he was drafted.

And if your an opera singer, you must be Rozental.

The most dangerous stretch Rozental had this season was when he was obviously "clicking" with Martino for a week or two. It was after the Martino/Woly trade that we then found out Martino had upped his play to coincide with Sigi's trade promise. Coincidence??

The one I'm more curious about is Grabavoy, although it seems Sigi is moving towards Gaven as strictly an attacking mid.....which is fine by me as long as he starts hitting his target a bit more frequently.

April 12, 2003 is the last time the Crew won in Giants Stadium. Hangthadj & myself independantly attended that game. Have you been back to the Medowlands since then Hangthadj?
After the last game, Sigi was talking about Garey being not as physically fit as he would of been had he not missed preseason training w/ an injury. Garey has a knack for finishing his chances and he will prove the naysayers wrong.
