Gaven's first touch of the ball and gets deep in the box and then loses possession without a shot or pass. Weak.
How did Conrad not get a yellow for blatantly not making a play on the ball and trying to stop an attack?
Re: Gaven not passing ... It seemed to me he had no options. But I still would have liked something quicker. I'm sure the ref played the advantage, but in some ways I'd rather have had the shirt pull called on Kei.
It would be awesome if Sigi would sit him for a game then he could just be the most overpaid player on the team instead or overpaid AND OVERATED.
DOR sees yellow - good call there. 3 yellows for the Crew so far. KC STILL looking far more dangerous than Columbus. Crew still without a SOG. F*ck.
We're not doing well. Not well at all. 3 yellows, and very few chances for us, very many chances for them.
Agreed. The ref can call it back even several seconds later if he wants. Also, yeah he had no options, but that first touch let him down. Otherwise it would have been a good look at goal. While I was typing...O'Rourke gets a yellow because the field is slippery.
The first one maybe, although I still think it was just more clumsy than viscious. 2nd one I don't even think Frankie touched him. 3rd one O'Rourke seemed to just slip more than anything else, but yes late. So maybe 2 out of 3 were justified. But that one on Hejduk was a dive by Burciaga. Zavagnin's yellow was more justified than any of the Crew's 3
I think if we can find Grabavoy just a bit more with short passes out of the back we'll be just fine.
