Capys giving up a late goal? I'm not shocked. They tied at two each and then lost in the shootout. Atlanta gets two points and Columbus leaves with one.
Eh, we got him from Barcelona B so going back to Spain probably makes sense. He wasn't getting anywhere over here.
The idea would definitely need a bit of tweaking, but how fun would this have been if the ASG was a week or two ago? Sunday: US Olympic Team vs MLS Next Pro All-Stars Wednesday: MLS All-Star Game (Yeah, I might have ripped the idea from previous ASGs.)
The tea leaves tell me there might be something special planned for today's game. There could even be a bit of an attendance bump. Come early, eat a hot dog or two or bring your own food and let's beat FCC 2. #HeckIsPlausible Edit: I've heard 2,000 tickets sold! The tailgate has an expanded food offering. Mac and cheese and brownies...truly colossal. The free parking for this game AND the next game (educated guess) are definitely a nice touch.
Announcement: This Tuesday is all sorts of fun at HCS. There's the MLS Next All-Star Game (not NP...one level below) at 11am and there has been legitimate talk of some sort of tailgate. At 3pm, there's the Unified Game Admission is FREE to both games! Both at HCS. Yeah, it sucks it's a Tuesday, but don't you all need a day off work anyway?
I missed a goal in there somewhere. 4-1 in the 75th! 5-1 in the 77th! Owen Goal in the 90th! (Well, it looked like Owen Goal from the CapyDecke.) 6-1 to Crew 2!
There's a 99% chance of breakfast offerings at HCS starting at 9am Tuesday before the MLS Next ASG. They'll start at 9am before the 11am kickoff. Admission is free. Location: HCS.
