Ripped off FB for people not in the group: "The CapyBrava will be organizing a preseason trip to Highmark Stadium in Pittsburgh on Feb 16. Email info@ capybrava. com if interested." Shout-out to @DrunkandDisorderly: Schedule below. $10 tickets here with fees. In 2024, tickets bought at the stadium didn't have fees. Crew first-team STMs can get individual tickets with no fees via this link. Limited to eight per order and two orders. If you're not a Crew STM, there's plenty of us who'll get you as many as you need. Decision Day will be at LDC. Hype song:
There are some long gaps after the first two games and before the finale. Here's the list of "Crew and Crew 2 combined weekends with home games" list. There's probably a chance of something being off, so take this with a grain of salt. Don't show up to the wrong stadium!)
I'm very excited, but I hope the current youth coaches aren't too upset about an external hire. We've lost a lot of coaching talent there the past few years. Anyway, I'm going to Easton to celebrate.
Well, as an "external hire," Pipa is pretty closely linked to the club, to say the least. I love the idea, but fully admit that I have little knowledge of his skillset as a coach. The club has seemed to drift away from its tradition of nurturing relationships with former players. This is a nice move back in that direction.
My buddy and I always mention that, lol. If she's reporting it, it's true. Since she is always the last to know.
Monday: Schedule release Tuesday: $5 tickets Wednesday: Pipa announced as coach Thursday: What the hell is coming tomorrow? It's a great week to be a Capy fan.
I will say, for as much crap as the team gets for not recognizing their history, it’s great to bring back a legend to coach the team in any capacity. Great hire
I think it's fine if it's a developmental team or in another capacity, but...do we really want a repeat of Robert Warzycha from 2009-2013? I'd be hesitant to do it for the full team head coach, especially if it was immediately upon retiring. Pipa is a great hire.
It’s not an overstatement to claim that the Crew organization’s most exciting off-season acquisition has been bringing back a retired former player to coach their developmental team.
I kept seeing in post after post on socials yesterday a picture of Pipa with his MLS resume, but not saying the reason they were posting it. Like it was out of the blue. I didn’t find out the reason until I came here.

"No one is more important than the team. The team comes first, always, always." A concept that Kei Kamra was never quite able to understand.

That’s funny from a a guy who should have given Kamara the PK . Especially when your Pk conversion rate wasn’t very good. They both acted like assholes and derailed the season being petty. Kamara wasn’t the instagstor in that scenarios but he definitely took things to far, both failed to be the bigger man about the situation.
