ok, so I have a player who is 19 years old right now and will be 20 when the next birthdays roll around. I am not sure how many nets I want to give him in the coming season because he will be 20 and the time between pops will be even longer, however I really do want to see him reach elite in one category. here is his info: Trevor Rose (327402) RH Batsman, RF Bowler, superb batting form, superb bowling form, invigorated A cautious player with superb leadership skills and woeful experience. Plays For: Wicketkeepers Nationality: West Indies Age: 19 Years Old Battrick Rating: 92,398 (+3719) Wages: £6,756 p/w Stamina: superb Wicket Keeping: woeful Batting: woeful Concentration: strong Bowling: quality Consistency: exquisite Fielding: remarkable he is currently getting 3 bowling and 1 fielding. I dropped his stamina net because he just popped to superb. any thoughts on how many nets I should give him? i know some people here have guys on the NT and have been training "older" players
Seargeant is on a steady diet of three batting nets. At some point, I'd like to work a little more on his fielding. I think Kevin has been giving Julian more nets, because he's at least a half a primary level ahead of Seargeant right now, but at the cost of personal fitness issues.
hmm, i might give Rose 2 or 3 nets (3 bowling or 2 bowling and 1 fielding) the problem is with FC matches starting I need him to play every match in order to win!
If you're going to try and train his bowling to elite I wouldn't give him a fielding net. He already has very nice cons and fielding but to train them any more wouldn't give a very big performance bonus compared to the extra wage you'll be paying him. My superstar 19yo (approaching exquisite batting) is down to 2 batting nets. If I kept his fielding as well i'd never be able to afford to train him to elite.
hmm, good call. i think i'll drop the fielding and just give him 2 or 3 bowling nets, however i'm trying to reach elite in consis because he's closer! i'll have ot think about this
I was looking at the national team roster and noticed that my guy has a higher BT Rating than all but 3 of the players... Junior Mason (78255) - 23 yo, BT Rating=169,008 LH Batsman, LM Bowler, superb batting form, superb bowling form, invigorated A defensive player with strong leadership skills and woeful experience. Stamina: superb Batting: strong Bowling: feeble Fielding: wonderful Wicket Keeping: remarkable Concentration: phenomenal Consistency: exceptional Does he have any chance to make the national team?
http://s14.invisionfree.com/West_Indies_Forum/ Or BT-mail Asterix to inquire. I'm guessing the bat isn't good enough, but you never know as this guy is on the England squad: 7. Isaac Lawson (41875) RH Batsman, RFM Bowler, strong batting form, superb bowling form, sublime A cautious player with woeful leadership skills and mediocre experience. Part of the England squad Plays For: uberheroes Nationality: England Age: 22 Years Old Battrick Rating: 251,216 Wages: £127,855 p/w Stamina: superb Wicket Keeping: miraculous Batting: proficient Concentration: elite Bowling: worthless Consistency: phenomenal Fielding: competent
No, he's not good enough. His BT rating is inflated because of his high but useless consistency and his almost useless fielding and his somewhat useful concentration.
