Creating a C/K/J all star: part one

lets make an all star team. in part one, we will decide the two forwards and a play maker. I really don't know enough about chinese players so you gotta help me out there.

I think Nakata is THE playmaker. For the one of the two open forward slot, I will put Seol Ki-Hyun. I'll let Takahara, Qu Bo and Ahn fight for the last open spot.

    Objections? flame away

Creating a C/K/J all star: part two

This is midfielder section. Let's have four midfielders... I just put Nakata as a forward so don't include him here.

    Ono----------------------------Park Ji-SUng
    -------Yoo Sang-Cheol----Kim Nam-Il-------

once Yoo Sang-Cheol get's too old, maybe I'll put Toda in. Song could play instead of Park Ji-Sung too.

Creating a C/K/J all star: part three

The defense section. To say the truth, I don't know how good SUn is, but since all my fellow chinese people here say he is the best, I'll include him.

    Sun-------????????----------Song

i have no idea who i should put in the middle...

Nakata is the playmaker. I pick Ahn as one of the two strikers. Suzuki, Qu and Seol compete for the other spot.

    Sun---------Hong Myung Bo--------Song.
Even though he did terrible at the game against Turkey. I still think he is a very good player.

    How about:

Koji Nakata----Sun Jihai ------- Song Chong Gug?

Sun can play virtually anyway besides GK.

    Midfield:

Shinji Ono ----Li Tie ---- Kim Nam Il ---- Park Ji Sung

Hey, junjun , you forgot the goalie.
I'll pick Lee Woon Jae. I don't think anybody wants to argue about that.

    Merge all three threads.
don't see any reason to separate them.

I agree, I like Toda's aggressiveness on defense but Inamoto is more versatile and has more all-around talent.

Why did you merge all three threads? this doesn't allow in depth discussion if we just talk about the whole team at once. now everyone just lists their starting line up and the thread will end up with 10 different 11 starters. i dont want to talk about forwards then the next post talk about the defense etc.

Although many people put Hong myung-bo as center defense, i think he is too old.. he won't last for longer than couple years. who played center back for japan and china? i can't think of any young korean defenders other than SOng

Ono is a natural righty and his best position, imo, is in the middle behind the two forwards, but he plays volante for Feyenoord and left midfield for Japan.

That is to say, he can play anywhere in the midfield.

I still think Toda is more useful than Inamoto... i don't know what's up with Inamoto these days. since the WC, he is playing 100 times better than he has ever played before.
