It's about time the website had a good article; it sure as hell beats Kenny's story about Costco. Well done :)

Thanks. Although I seem to have jinxed Carlos. See today's Fulham match for details.

I'm just amazed that the damn thing was up 24 HOURS before somebody noticed over here. And please, don't take that out of context...

    Later,
    COZ

  4. Hey! Just be happy we read the damn thing, drummy. And as far as context goes...

    Had to.

man, why's everybody always gotta be putting kenny down? i mean, sure, his articles don't really tell us anything, and most of the time its hard to find a point to them.

other than the fact he's trying to give us something entertaining to read.

but how dare he? entertainment? in reading?? we don't read books for their entertainment value, we read them to find out facts and opinions about stuff relevant to us.

whats wrong with a column with no other point besides giving us something entertaining to read?

No, Jimmy's is for entertainment. Kenny has a chance to talk about something important or at the very least something of substance. He often hits well wide of that mark.

The fact that it's not entertaining.

I was looking through this guy's stuff for the firs time tonight and I was shocked that he's actually considered a "columnist." His quips about Costco don't fall under any of the following categories: informative, insightful, interesting, humorous. I don't think even I could turn that into a good read. A Vegas strip club on the other hand is a potential goldmine for good material, but yet again he fails to turn that potential material into kinetic material... if you follow my physics.

I think Coz should be moved up the depth chart of Fire columnists.

I would also like to take this opportunity to publically declare that there is no longer a rivalry nor bad blood between me and Coz.

    For now.

Great stuff as usual Coz. Someone should forward Tino a link. I think seeing a quality columnist duel between Coz and TP would make for some entertaining reading come season time.

    Exactly.

My time is valuable. If I am going to spend my time reading anything it must give me some value back. Humor, insight, SOMETHING. Kenny just plain misses so often it is really easy to just avoid him.

I'm just glad to see any new soccer articles that I'm not as critical.

In close to 4 years. About a post and a half a day. Not record setting by any means.

    1.75, but what's a quarter post among friends? ;)

    Like I said -- just a joke :)

It struck me as funny to see the words "my time is valuable" on a message board. That's all.
