Thanks. I think I'm good. I never see my neighbors except to wave at them if I'm out in the yard doing stuff or walking to my mailbox. I heard the mother is a hairdresser who was working in the salon at the local Wal-Mart, but she got laid off in March when everything started to shut down here. I think she only recently went back to work. Her daughter works nights...but I don't know where. So, it's unclear how they got infected, as well as the fellow (the older woman's dad) I referred to earlier. I also just heard that the man's sister contracted the virus too. It's pretty sad. The guy and his sister are nice people that would give you the shirt off their backs, if necessary. Still don't know if he's actually in the hospital now or if he just went there as a precaution, if he's there at all.
I guess it would be important to know that the previous record had been established YESTERDAY, at 40.
It'll be interesting if I have to stop at the one near my parents. They live in a spot that's part rich people and part rednecks.
My local club is finally selling masks again. Did I buy both? Of course I did. Just need a Chelsea one and I'm set.
I actually received my 3-pack of US Soccer masks on Monday. I have yet to leave the house since picking them out of the mailbox on Monday night, so have not gotten a chance to wear any of them.
I thought about ordering those, but I have enough masks. Upside is since Detroit City FC became a thing, my dad's became a huge soccer fan. I just introduced him to the awesomeness that is Christian Pulisic.
I think you gotta go with either a THOT or a PRAYER. I try not to mix those two. That is f ing hilarious, funniest stuff I have seen in a couple of days.
The only reason I did so was because the proceeds were going to some eleemosynary cause, though I no longer remember to which SPECIFIC charity.
Well, Russia hasn't been doing so great, so I would say "no". Submitting my paper for peer review now.
well, a character in a play Sartre wrote said it (No Exit, IIRC). So you're probably right. It's kind of like people quoting Shakespeare as saying "First thing we do let's kill all the lawyers" as if Shakespeare endorses the sentiment. He might, but it's in a play, and it's actually uttered by a pretty unsavory character.
What is this "enough masks" thing that you talk about? I'm not saying my family has a lot of masks, but if wearing masks doesn't become part of post-pandemic fashion, I've got drawers of wasted cloth.
I don't have a big collection, but I'm currently in the market for a "summer" mask. Early in the pandemic, when masks were hard to find, I ordered one of these to support a California company: https://www.rickshawbags.com/face-mask-solids It's a great mask, and it fits me very well. But now that it is hot outside, I'd like something a bit lighter weight.
Does it also apply to soy sauce, the real fermented stuff, not the quick produced by putting poison in it stuff.
