I personally can't stand her, which isn't really going too crazy. I've never believed her and all of her "I'm out of control, please help me...no, wait, leave me alone" type crap. And Kurt Cobain marrying her doesn't make her any more cool, it make's me question his level of taste. Her appearance on Letterman last night was a perfect example of the "I'll try anything for attention" life she leads. What a joke.
I've liked Courtney since I saw "Straight To Hell" way back in '86 or '87. I always thought she was a better actress than a rock star, but Hole does have a few really good songs. And yeah, she's nuts.
She's probably nuts. Then again, there's a line in the Foo Fighters song I'll Stick Around -- "How can it be/I'm the only one who sees/Your rehearsed insanity" that supposedly is about Love. SO take that for what it's worth. But her lastest single is actually pretty darn energetic and good. It has the nineties anger without being a half-cocked plea for attention in the way that most nu metal etc. is. .She may or may not be crazy, but she actually has talent. Listening to Violet assures that.
I called it Courtney tells Christina Ricci "anything you can do, I can do crazier" cuz Ricci was hammered on Leno about a month ago.
How do you define "nuts" ? Does taking your top off on a late night chat show equal nuts ? I thought that would be considered rather punk rock
