In Argentina and in Uruguay it is verry common after Clasicos are played that billboards are posted thru out the city making fun of the loser..... they are always very simple no fancy design no fancy colors or special effects......

So here they are in English and Spanish......

As much as El Flaco hates the sponsorship of this team, he has to admit it makes for some good graphic design ideas.

Maybe my expectations/standards are too high, but I don't see the point in commemorating a win that catapults us into a four way tie for last god damn place. This is a Metro-area sports team...our fans should act like we've been here before - on the winning side of a game against a rival.

That being said, good looking stuff...very funny.

I think the point was covered in Wile's post regarding the SA tradition after classicos.

My opinion is that even when your season is crap, you can still take pleasure in a game where your team destroys a hated rival. Think Jets vs. NE. It doesn't matter where we are in the standings, any time we beat them soundly, I'm smiling for a week.

Maybe more. But losing to Toronto is the fastest way to wipe a smile off my face. :D
