Hello? Anybody home? At this point in time there will be no local Boston TV for this game. Is there anybody in NC that would be interested and able to do a tape exchange? Please drop me a PM. TIA
bre's status... Ggggrrrrrr ... it has been announced today that the two-game series vs. Nigeria has been CANCELLED because the Nigerians will not be arriving in the U.S. until April 23rd, thus missing both games that were scheduled for April 18th amd April 20th. The Nigerians will, however, be playing the USWNT on the 26th ... go figure! Personally, I'm mucho urked about this ... main reason being that Team Canada is already in South Carolina preparing for these games, and "accomodated" the Nigerians by having the games in SC. The fact that Nigeria is not showing up in time for these games. Big thumbs down to the Nigerian FA ... let me grrrrrr some more! lol Instead, Team Canada will be playing games vs. local teams ... so i guess that means bre will be focused on one game only this weekend!! grrr... elaine
article Here is an article on the Courage site: http://carolinacourage.com/354577.html Lucky is still out. No mention of Carla Overbeck. It should be in the upper sixties when the game starts, and the rain should be gone. Go Courage!!
My prediction Boston 3 Courage 1 Goals by Lilly, Meinart, and Dagny Goal by Birgit Go Breakers!!! Yes you are reading right, I am pulling for the Breakers tonight. K~
Re: My prediction Thanks for the message this morning Oddball#34 or I guess I should say "tusen takk!!" I'm very thankful that someone in Raleigh is taping today's match for me, but I really wish that I could watch it live so hopefully someone will have some information for me about DirectTV. It will be very difficult for the Courage to contain Boston's "Triangle of Death," but I also think that Birgit will score at least one goal today as well. "IF" Karina LeBlanc comes up huge again in goal like she did two weeks ago here, and "IF" Boston doesn't have numerous lapses on defense like they did last week, then I think there is a chance that your prediction could end up being correct Oddball#34. I have a feeling that today's match will end up as a 2-2 draw, but if the Courage score first and Boston plays more like they did in Atlanta than like they did in San Diego, the Courage could end up winning today 4-2.
Boston - Carolina Series Thanks for posting this link. It looks like this series has probably been the closest one so far during the first two seasons of the WUSA. Boston has won twice by a single goal, the Courage have won also won twice by a single goal and there have been two draws.
