*The reason the 2003 ranking is used (rather than the 2004 ranking), is because teams have to know at the beginning of the season what they play for.

    Changes
    - Scotland now has GP spot.
    - Turkey loses its GP spot.
    - Switzerland gains a CL spot.
    - Israel gains a CL spot
    - Russia loses a CL spot.
    - Austria loses a CL spot.

Quite difficult, but considering how much we (Germany) suck currently, not impossible--still close to near-impossible however.

Currently the difference between the two leagues is 7.664 points. France holds a 2.285 point advantage for the 98/99 season will get dropped. That means France would have to make up a 9.949 spread. If Germany sucks as bad again as this past season (unlikely in my opinion, but possible), and we get the same 9.142 points, France would have to win the UEFA Cup and field all CL semi-finalists to get the required 19.091 points to pull even.

    Go for it.

[As for the German NT--it's all over. I will defintely own up to that.]

There won't be major changes at the top next season. England and Italy compete for the meaningless second spot and then the real fights start from position 6 downwards.

    What's the difference? Consider:

Greece has only 2 teams that are in Europe every year.
    Olympiakos
    Panathinaikos
as well as AEK the rest of the league is garbage.......

Dutch teams do well in Europe and are constantly in the Champs League...
    Ajax
    PSV
    Feyenoord.................

    ???

Can you maybe provide us with a link? I mean, Schalke/Gelsenkirchen + Gothenburg were chosen for 2004 just a couple of weeks ago, I'd wonder if 2005 is already certain.

You sure you got that right?
Haven't heard a thing about that anywhere.

Was it on a club site you heard it?
