    uh, ok...
while your post fell just shy of coherent, when I asked if you wanted to hitch your wagon to that star, I meant are you sure you want to attach your identity to Journey and defend it? because I think that's a losing battle.
I said nothing about fighting OKT.
    but maybe I'm misreading you...

lucky for us, they do allow him to leave a couple times a month for our SoB lunches.

can we change the name of this thread to "... make fun of Calcio", especially since the B76's march 13th prediction has come and gone?

both of these instances proved to be bad luck for the respective teams that they were supposed to support. The Phillies gave up one of the most heart-wrenching home runs to Joe Carter to lose the World Series in 1993, and the Flyers were swept in the 1997 Stanley Cup finals.
so no, let's not go there for the Phalanx.

I do not know of this Joe Carter. I do know of a Joe ********ing Carter that played for the Blue jays, and he hit a homerun off of Mitch ********ing Williams. :(

But the Billy Penn stuff did change the mojo.

Seeing as there is currently no MLS team in Philadelphia, Billy's mojo may be what's needed to have one created. Just a bit of reverse logic.

It could also be that Billy Penn isn't the biggest baseball and hockey fan, but instead a huge soccer fan.

maybe the problem is that billy boy up there faces northeast; that is, his back is to the sports complex. maybe if we build an sss in northeast philly he would be able to smile on it.

They still should have the casting mold. Leave the one where it is for history's sake, but put a new Billy on the Comcast Tower.

And he could have different poses on each building. Starting with a big middle finger extended towards New York.
