could the metros find home with the Mets?

    Read the paper today saying that NYC has placed a new privately financed stadium in Flushing for the mets as their bid for the Olympics. Would the Metros see this as a way to get out of Giant stadium with their awful field turf? Would playing there bring more fans out or less? I know I would trek from NJ to see the metros.The reason I ask is that I'm tired of waiting for the stadium in harrison to be built. It seems like a mirage to long time true metro fans.

    That will be fantastic or build a SSS on SHEA ground

    I would be surprised if the Metros were there.

    No way the Mets are sharing with a soccer team.

    I ************ing love the Mets, and having the Metrostars play in a SSS next to SHEA would be a dream come true! :)
