That would change the make-up of the midfield. It would be worth looking forward to. Even though Curbs has money this offseason, I dont expect him to just throw money at players. I forsee him doing exactly the same level-headed deals that hvae built up the team. Bringing in players that can play but are sort of forgotten.
Just my opinion, but I think Curbs needs to buy one player of note -- so-to-speak. Like a Pennant. Or Alan Smith. I don't think Pennant is forgotten. I just think Wenger has decided he has other options that appeal to him more. The loan has worked well for both of those teams and for Pennant. He has played well enough to gain notice from other clubs while Wenger made up his mind about him. And Leeds has gained by having him on the pitch.
