Better than let's have them play Brazil and see which loses by fewer goals.

Neither side wants to lose. They'd rather try to draw this match, draw Brazil then play for goals against N. Korea.

Not smart, I agree. He's been the best man out there for CIV.

Ivory is really lacking a creative 10.

Amorim has come onto the pitch for Raul Meireles.

Gervinho has been the best player, but he was exhausted in the end. I think it was a good move.

Not too many real scoring chances though, even after it picked up in the second half.

Too many teams have this mentality, i wouldn't be surprised if Spain scores in the first 15 minutes of their opener then simply pass the ball around the pitch for the next 75 mins.

Well, it is a far better 0-0 than France v Uruguay.

    Romaric in, Eboue out.

Very tentative WC. In the 2nd round game games a lot of teams who drew will need 3 points to get out of the group, so hopefully it will open up a bit.

Why Eboue and not K Toure?

Gervinho was gassed, that's why he was subbed.

The Dindane-Coentrao duel was the most exciting so far, IMO.

Drogba was thinking Anelka and Lampard would be there to finish the chance.

I think my heart just jumped.

Portugal better be thankful that NO ONE was there to put Drogba's ball into the net.

Drogba gets released but side foots it across the box, looking for a teammate? Thrown off balance by his arm? Who knows.
