Hernan Medford has just been signed as head coach of Mexican club Leon which plays in the Primera A (2nd division). Looks like he will bring along players from Costa Rica to his new team who is rumored to being linked with Jared Borghetti and Carlos Costly as well.

Medford will bring 3 players along with him to Leon. One will be a foward who plays in Europe (Saborio), and the other 2 will most likely be players from Saprissa (won't be surprised if its Cordero, Drummond, Nunez, or Solis). Hope its not either Navas, Celso, Alonso, or Centeno because that will be bad for our national team.

Italian club Torino of Serie A is interested in Tuma Martinez
    http://www.monumental.co.cr/noticiaD.aspx?idParrafo=2084

It would be nice to see Tuma Martinez back in the Serie A this season...but Torino is in 17th place out of 20 teams...maybe he should wait and stay with Brescia since they are in 1st place in the Serie B...and if Brescia isn't able to get promoted...he could wait for another offer because we all know he has the talent to be playing in the elite leagues...he just needs to prove that he can stay healthy

Rodney Wallace, another Costa Rican player playing in a US College, got drafted by DC United with the 7th pick of the draft.

Here are a few short descriptions of what was seen of him at the college player combine in Florida as well as a story from Sports Illustrated. It seems is is a very talented defender. Maybe we can trade out the old Wallace in Liberia for this new one in a few years:p. I've also attached his college bio.

He is a Generation Adidas player so his salary does not count the teams cap and is in no risk to get picked up in the expansion draft at the end of the year for the new Philadelphia team.

Bad decision IMO...Celso should wait until he gets an offer from a league like Spain, England, Italy, Germany, France, or Holland...He is one of the only few players that could and should be playing in a world class league...this is what he gets for having a shitty agent like Jorge Ulloa who is only good enough to send players to lower level leagues in Europe.

    Celso is that good ?

Suprising that he would go to Fredrikstad then cause they are hardly more then an aveage team in Norway.

But there manager does have great connections so maybe he did something.
